At long last, Nicki & Todd are going back to WDW, LIVE!

Beautiful gift from Kathy and Mark! :thumbsup2

So happy for you that you had such a wonderful day for your anniversary. Loved the EPCOT story. I have to say that I have met some of the nicest people while at Disneyworld. Sure, there are difficult people, but also a lot of really genuinely nice, friendly people, too.

Citrico's sounded delicious. I had that banana dessert there last year. By that point in the trip (we were on DxDDP, so we got dessert at every meal), I felt like I had way too many banana/chocolate deserts, which was a combo I thought I'd never get tired of. I'm not sure what was wrong with me that night, but Citrico's just missed for me. I'm not sure why. I'll have to revisit it again sometime in the future. Your filet sounds incredible...I think if I had ordered that I probably would've enjoyed my meal more. I got short ribs and while they were good, I don't love ,meat that gets cooked forever

You went to my favorite restaurant tonight and I hope it was fantastic. Loved, loved, loved California Grill. And I can't wait to hear about the party, too!

What a great Breakfast! I love breakfast, but the rest of the family really aren't fans and those early morning hours are the kids' best ones of the day - so we try to do rope drop and a few hours of solid touring before lunch.
Maybe one day - I'll get one of those breakfast buffets... sigh....
Wouldn't it be cool if like 1 night a week they had "breakfast for dinner" at the Crystal Palace...ok maybe it's just me...
Have a great day! Thanks for the pics!
One of my favorite things to do is have a late breakfast. For example, we'll go to MK on an EMH day in the a.m. and then, reserve a 10:30 breakfast. So, if the parks opens at 8 am which it usually does since we are going during the peak season and there is early entry we'll go to the park from 7 am to 10:30 am. Ride a ton of rides and then, have a 10:30 am breakfast. YUM!!!

Now, where to begin?

You found yourself a gem, Nicki, in so many ways.:lovestruc

Always liked Cookes and their chips are "proper" chips like we have in the UK not the thin scraggly immitations found everywhere.

Citrico's...looks great but we have never been, menu just does not appeal and I get the impression it's more adult so perhaps not best suited to those with kids?

cape may...been a couple of times, and love the asparagus on the buffet:), but last time we were with our friends and got stuck in an ante room to the right as you go in and it was not as good as previously...elderly well meaning but lousy server, poor character interaction, too far from the buffet, and for me the sign of a good buffet breakfast is fresh eggs cooked to order, which they don't do here...

hope you had fun last night at the party.

Such a good idea to combine the late breakfast for EMH for MK! I was actually thinking of doing this or Donald's at AK in the future.
It's tough when DH doesn't like breakfast b/c he's the main breadwinner and I want to make the vacation great for him too.. ya know?
While we have a trip planned in Jan-Feb 2011 ... we might do one more in the fall of 2011... so maybe I'll get my way then.
Thanks so much!:thumbsup2

Another diser coming out of lurkdom to wish you and Todd a  HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

I was so excited to see that you enjoyed Via Napoli as much as we did, it was also one of the best meals (along with Citricos) for us and we intend to visit again in May, I can't wait!!

Werthers carmel shop mmmmmmmm can't wait to try it!!

Thank you! Those 2 places were outstanding, the best we had the entire trip..so far LOL

Okay...you've convinced me...we have to go back to Cape May for breakfast. But where are the pics with the characters????

Have a great dinner tonight and enjoy the PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

No character pictures as I was too concerned with the food pics ;)

We just ate here in September and thought it was just OK. I am going to guess it is because we chose a late breakfast, 11:00 am I think, and basically we felt that we had leftovers. Nothing was horrible but nothing was outstanding either. Maybe we will have to give it another try on a future trip.

Edit: After seeing your buffet pictures, I think our ADR was just too late. We had almost the same offerings but I don't remember the grapefruit, egg bake, asparagus, bread pudding and maybe one or two other things. Plus your food looks more fresh! No more late breakfast ADR's for us, I never thought it would make that much of a difference.

We do not care for late breakfast ressies either, the best time is from 8:30-9:30 am....very fresh food at those times because it is busier.

What a great Breakfast! I love breakfast, but the rest of the family really aren't fans and those early morning hours are the kids' best ones of the day - so we try to do rope drop and a few hours of solid touring before lunch.

I would LOVE a breakfast for dinner place, that would be my heaven!

Another lurker coming out to say, loooooove your reviews, as always!!

Happy Anniversary to you and Todd! :flower3:

So happy to have you here :goodvibes

i don't know how your dh is so lucky!! i'm just catching up on everything and i'm kicking myself for not trying via napoli!! since we're having our wedding in 2012 which requires 2 trips, i thought we were taking 2011 off... but NO!! he wants to come back in may because he'll miss the food too much, lol!! i booked us at the GF and grabbed a few reservations this morning. we're still defeated from the dxddp and want to try to do walk up lunches next time... but i'm nervous. maybe he can get the luck your dh has!! we loved citricos as well. the shrimp appy was pretty amazing.

i hope you enjoy your basin!! i had a $121 basin white trip and a $82 basin trip :( i just couldn't help myself. we had to buy one of those rolling carry ons they had at the gift shop just for my basin stuff :rotfl:

enjoy the rest of your trip!!

That is awesome! We are thinking of going back in May for Todd's birthday, might see you there! I am already using the Basin stuff now and I feel so pampered!

Happy Belated Anniversary! Great reviews and updates!

I'm sorry you didn't like La Hacienda, and I recommended it :scared1: We didn't try the appetizers and that cheese did look curdled - yuck. I don't like spicy food at all and the tacos were fine for me. Makes me wonder if they are making them more spicy which would be a bummer. The margaritas were outstanding though - but have an outstanding price to match!

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

No worries, I wanted to like LH so much but, to borrow a phrase from Todd, "I wasnt feeling it" :lmao:

Amazing update! I have never both laughed and cried in the same trip report before....Great job as always:thumbsup2

Glad you are enjoying it!

The Cape May breakfast looks so yummy!!

It was egg-cellent :rotfl:

Thank you for helping me decide on whether to keep our ADR for Cape May! In fact, I am going to stop thinking about it and keep it for sure. No Boma this time. I can't wait to read the reviews from tonight!!!!!! Hoping your meal is amazing and that the party is a blast! I'm still on the fence about the party. Hoping you'll convince me one way or the other. :) Just stay another week, I'm loving reading your reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy that you are keeping Cape May, you will LOVE it! I am so behind on reviews but we are having too much fun to stay in the room

Todd's got connections, huh? ;) LOVE Cape May buffet.. the food looks just as good as I remember!! Have fun at MVMCP!!

Todd has connections all right..to FOOD! :lmao:

We loved the Cape May breakfast too! Glad you had a great meal.

Sooo good! I wish there was a buffet like that in Naples.

Wow, hard to believe the Cape May breakfast topped Boma's. The pictures did look great though ... speaking of which, I believe I gained at least 5 lbs just from looking at them. lol If I actually got to eat all the stuff you and Todd do though, I'd weigh 300 lbs! So you guys are lucky! Happy anniversary and best wishes again ....

We could not believe it either, we were huge Boma lovers but after this trip it fell a few places down the ladder.

Beautiful gift from Kathy and Mark! :thumbsup2

Incredible people that we love dearly!

So happy for you that you had such a wonderful day for your anniversary. Loved the EPCOT story. I have to say that I have met some of the nicest people while at Disneyworld. Sure, there are difficult people, but also a lot of really genuinely nice, friendly people, too.

Same here...that will never change

Citricos is our favorite Signature place now, followed by Flying Fish

You went to my favorite restaurant tonight and I hope it was fantastic. Loved, loved, loved California Grill. And I can't wait to hear about the party, too!

Hope to get to Cali Grill soon!

You found yourself a gem, Nicki, in so many ways.:lovestruc

Thank you, I think so too!

Always liked Cookes and their chips are "proper" chips like we have in the UK not the thin scraggly immitations found everywhere.

Us too, we love thick cut potato-y fries

Citrico's...looks great but we have never been, menu just does not appeal and I get the impression it's more adult so perhaps not best suited to those with kids?

There was alot of families there that night and the food is really just normally stuff and just excellent!

cape may...been a couple of times, and love the asparagus on the buffet:), but last time we were with our friends and got stuck in an ante room to the right as you go in and it was not as good as previously...elderly well meaning but lousy server, poor character interaction, too far from the buffet, and for me the sign of a good buffet breakfast is fresh eggs cooked to order, which they don't do here...

hope you had fun last night at the party.

I can understand that, the room to the right is a terrible place to be! We had a great time last night, it was so much fun!

What about adding in just 1 breakfast? You can do something like Tusker House or Crystal Palace and they will do breakfast and lucnh items

Loving your reviews once again!! So glad you enjoyed Citrico's so much. Now that's on my list of possibilities for a romantic dinner for DH and me when we go back (we're going to put the kids into the camp at beach Club one evening and go to a signature restaurant). My DH would love those short ribs!

We also enjoyed Cape May breakfast. Their pastries were fresh and delicious. Eggs were very good, not what you would expect from a typical buffet. Only problem is...I was VERY nervous about eating breakfast there (the last morning of our trip in July). A few days into our trip, we had an ADR for Cape May dinner. DS5 is allergic to shellfish, but we always go out to eat and DH and I order it with no problem. The only time before then that it affected him, it was from ingesting shrimp, so I took him to have him tested and sure enough he has a shellfish allergy. I carry an Epi-pen, but fortunately never had to use it. Well...we walked into Cape May, and as soon as we passed the buffet when the hostess was seating us, the steam was in the air from the crab legs and DS5's nose got stuffy and his eyes got puffy and red and itchy. We walked right out of there, and within 2 minutes his reaction cleared up completely. The manager was wonderful and arranged for us to eat at Kouzzina instead (our choice, and it was excellent). I knew they served shellfish at Cape May of course, but I didn't know they steamed it right out in the open. I also didn't know he would have a reaction from breathing it in.

So, I was very skeptical about keeping our ADR at Cape May for breakfast. I asked the manager about it before we left, and she said it should be fine since there is no fish at breakfast except smoked salmon (he's not allergic to regular fish). DH and I had talked it over and decided to give it a try. The chef was great, he kept checking on us. He did say that there is no guarantee that someone didn't get some crab juice on the seat the night before. That made me uncomfortable. Thank goodness everything was fine, and DS5 was fine. But looking back, we should have gone to a different breakfast. So unfortunately, we will not be returning to Cape May.

I'm so happy I didn't miss much today (yet)! I did some Christmas shopping NOW since I'll be at WDW for 9 days and I don't want to be too far behind when I get home (which I know I will be). :rotfl2: I can't wait to read about last night's dinner, the party, and today!!!!!!!!!!! Glad you are having a great time. Disney is the best isn't it!

Hi Nicki,
Just checking in to see any new reports. I'm sure you're having a great time.
Can't wait to read more.
Joan

Hi guys, so sorry I have been MIA but I am ready to play catch up! We are both exhausted, the last week is catching up with us and we have another full day and one more half day to go!

Onto the monorail to the CR for our dinner at Cali Grill. We were early so I took alot of pics of the Gingerbread stand with all the treats.

Now it is Cali Grill time!

We rode up to the special elevator and waited in the bar for 20 minutes..this is such a ploy to get you to buy a cocktail....it worked! Todd had the French Martini and loved it! It was very good, I would have had one but I have had such a headache lately, I dont want to make it into a full blown migraine so I am laying off the good stuff :lmao:

We were both looking forward to our dinner at Cali Grill because we had a great dinner there in June 09. Problem was...I was still full from breakfast and nothing jumped out and screamed "ORDER ME!"

No black napkins at CG, the white lint was all over my pants.

Pretty anniversary table

Nov18Night033.jpg

Since the man I married tends to eat all of his meal and most of mine I told him that he could order for both of us again....he gets a huge kick out of this, picture a kid at Xmas time! :rotfl::rotfl2::lmao: Instead of whats under the tree for him it is whats on the menu  But first I had to play a joke on him

ME: I want sushi

DH: Must be nice to want (see how he uses my words against me?)

ME: Ah come on, you will like it

DH: You will like it when I order you the Tofu (smart guy, calls my bluff)

The bread was served very cold and the butter was rock hard frozen...not a good start

Nov18Night048.jpg

Nov18Night049.jpg

After the cheese plate at Narcoosee's and what a bust that was for him I was very surprised that he ordered the cheese plate.

ME: What are you doing, you said you would never order one of these again

DH: I dont recall saying that..I want some cheese

ME: This aint no Hickory Farms cheese basket, this is very upscale stuff

DH: So..do I eat it with my pinky out or in?

OY, such a comic

ME: Did you even read the descriptions?

DH: Nah, I like to be surprised

The plate was huge and although the servings are small (2 oz) they are very rich and stong so you do not need more than that. The cheeses were served with olive crisps, candied Marcondia (sp) almonds, dates, honeycomb and what Todd called ...a pear gummy drop (like a little gelatin cube)

He was quick to take a bite of the hard cheddar like cheese and really enjoyed it and then he tried the goat cheese and made the face. You Disers with kids know that face...its the "I dont like this and I want to spit it out" face...now he is close to 40 :rolleyes1 and should not be making that face but he did so I did the "I told you so" face!

The soft cheeses were fantastic and I put some on the bread and mixed some with the honeycome and pear "gummy" and it made them even better. I somehow convinced him to try it that way and he liked it, said it was sweeter and less overpowering.

I lost him at the blue cheese...I think he turned green on me  BUT in his defense it was very very very strong and I couldnt stomach it either

Nov18Night051.jpg

We are very much salad people and the last time we were there I wanted to try the rock shrimp salad but opted for the lobster risotto. Todd remembered this (yes ladies, this he remembers but taking out the trash...not so much!) and ordered this for me. There were a ton of tender lightly battered and not greasy shrimp, the salad greens were extremely bitter and crispy (Todd describes it as eating weeds) and the dressing was tangy yet spicy. I would have loved this as a meal, it was humongous!

Nov18Night053.jpg

Todd had, what else, a caesar salad. I didnt like it, the dressing is sweet/sour tasting but he really liked it and isnt that what really matters since he ordered it for himself?

Nov18Night030.jpg

Todd wanted the filet (medium) and I had to remind him to ask for the teriyaki bbq sauce on the side as it is so strong it ruins the taste of the meat...we didnt have to worry about this because the filet had no flavor and was charred tasting, very tough to cut. The carrots were over gingered and were not tender and the potatoes were sliced thin and stacked under the meat were hard and tasted like the charred filet. He was so disappointed with his meal and to have to fight to cut the darn thing didnt help matters.

Nov18Night055.jpg

He knows I love everything pumpkin so he ordered the chicken that comes with seasonal veggies and a pumpkin pecan side dish. The chicken was dry as a bone, the veggies were gross and the pumpkin pecan thing was ok until I tried to mix it up and found a horrible smoked sausage and pepper thing on the bottom that was sooooo bad I actually choked!

Nov18Night056.jpg

I love figs and I love risotto so I asked the server if I could have a little taste...I wish I didnt. This was sooo salty it was disgusting and I discretely spit it out in my napkin.

Nov18Night057.jpg

Well, we were bummed and not impressed at all....the best thing so far was the cheese plate! I wanted to coffee and I wanted to get some into Todd so he would stay away until the end of the party....stunned that they do not have pressed pot coffee! Two cups of regular it is. The desserts didnt wow me but we shared this little beauty. It was very very very good, I love apples (and pumpkin ;)) and this really hit the spot.

Nov18Night059.jpg

Nov18Night060.jpg

Nov18Night061.jpg

So there you have it...the icky meal at Cali Grill. The service was excellent, the food was anything but. The restaurant is extremely loud and we could not hear each other speak...nothing like the cozy atmosphere at Citricos. Dont think we will be eating here for a while, we really missed Flying Fish and would like to try Artists Point the next time.

Perhaps you should have tried the sushi? ;)

I am totally dismayed by the bad luck you are having with your meals this trip. I know how much you enjoyed Cali Grill the last time and to have it be such a flop (like Narcooses) must be very disappointing for you.

I'm sorry you have been having a headache again. I hope you are better for the rest of the trip. Did you go to Sea World today?

And I'm so tired I got a glimpse of the Food KING!

Oh, darn, what a bummer for both of you! It's sad to look forward to something so much only to be disappointed. I hope you had a blast at the party though! That filet does not appear to be worthy of the price in my opinion. But what do I know (not much). :rotfl2: We've never ventured to California Grill. Sadly my stomach prevents me from eating steak unless its a filet but this filet really looks fatty to me. It also bans me from chocolate or whipping cream I think. I'm staying clear it on our trip because I do not want to suffer the consequences while on vacation! Make your last few days the best!!!!!!!!!!

We said a "CYA" to Cali Grill and walked to MK for the MVMCP but there was a problem...it was freezing out! It was a little after 7pm and I had planned on this and brought sweaters and jackets for us, the weather was 52 and breezy.

The park wasnt that busy, or so I thought. The rides were all walk on and I do mean all the rides. We did some PP pics, after 5 years I have a new picture of us with Mickey and Minnie in Xmas gear and they had a long line for the 7 dwarfs but it was worth the wait as we never see them all together. Did the standard Castle pics too.

The parades (both of them) were packed with people. I thought the 10:30 one would be a low crowd but boy was I wrong. The same thing with the shows, it was so hard to get close enough for a shorty like me to see anything. The dance parties were empty though.

Had to get the cocoa and the cookies. He said the cocoa was good and very hot but the cookies are greasy, hard and too sweet...1 bite and it found its way in the trash

Nov18Night066.jpg

Nov18Night065.jpg

Around 10 we had to get popcorn..the smells were too intoxicating to pass it up!

Nov18Night069.jpg

Now these are not the best but they will have to do for now :goodvibes

NickiTodd005.jpg

NickiTodd001-1.jpg

We left the park at midnight on the dot....totally suprised me that we were both wide awake and feeling no pain, considering I dragged the poor boy around all night long like he was on a leash :lmao: He never once complained and when I commented on it he said it was because I let him rest and nap all day...hey whatever works right?

:dance3: :yay:

Happy, giddy and alert...thats us...until we sit our butts on the bus and then it was lights out sweetheart. Both of us were just falling asleep on each other....how we made it back to the room I'll never know.

We get in the room and crank the heat up (yes peeps, 52 is very cold for us Floridians ) and this is all I remember before crawling into bed

DH: If you think we are going to Sea World tomorrow you are out of your mind

ME: But it was your idea

DH: Never said it was a good one and since when do you do anything I suggest. This trip is your baby

ME: It was, until we got here and you decided you wanted full custody

I dont think he heard that one because his next words were:

SNORE SNORE SNORE SNORE SNORE

So what did we do today....funny you should ask

What a bummer about CG. We had a magical 20th anniversary dinner there 4 years ago and DH just doesn't want to go back because he knows it probably won't be as perfect as that night. I had no idea they had gingerbread goodies at the Contemporary but the one time I was there in December I don't think we made it over there. It's on the agenda this time since it will be easy to reach from the Poly.

Hope you enjoyed the Christmas party - can't wait to hear about it.

Oh, sweetie. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pictures. You guys are just cute as buttons and seeing them makes us miss you all the more. I'm not trying to age us any faster than we already are (meaning Mark and I, NOT you and Todd), but I sure as heck wish Mark would reach 62 so we can move to Florida as is the plan so we can be by you guys.

We slept hard, we slept long and when we woke up the first thing on my mind was more sleep and aspirin. The first think on his mind was food.

ME: Are we going to Sea World?

DH: Nope we are going to the food court

ME: What are we going to do today Julie (as in cruise director from the Love Boat? He totally gets this joke because he calls me that while we are on vacation)

DH: Hmm (thinking, thinking, scratch head, thinking), I think I would like to go back to Epcot

ME: SAY WHAT? You have been giving me grief about spending the entire time at Epcot and you what to go where???

DH: That was on your schedule, now you are on mine (So now he has me shaking in my boots....wooo hooo....)

ME: My life is your schedule, how will today be any different

DH: Well I didnt say you had to come with me (said with love, and an evil grin)

ME: Well that blows my plans, we were going to do that on Saturday. Now what do we do then?

DH: I'll get back to you on that

Anyone know of a good insane asylum in Orlando? I think I would like to check in :rotfl:

So off to breakfast we go, food court style because he doesnt want to waste time at Sunshine Seasons so lets just waste time here at the resort

ME: What do you want? I am not that hungry so a croissant and tea is fine with me

DH: I know what I dont want, no more eggs.

So we get there and I go to do the drinks...he goes to do the food. Now you look at this picture and you tell me what is on it

Nov19day013.jpg

YUP! If you guessed eggs you are 100% right!

ME: You know, I didnt go to no fancy schools or nuttin but those sure do look like some eggs to me

DH: Well they were putting them out fresh and I got them for you because you like them so much

Great, thanks loads...now I need to choke down some eggs!

They were very good though, creamy and moist and very fresh.

I had the croissant and he had a cinnamon bagel that was a bit chewy and he didnt enjoy it. The oatmeal was like the paste they used in elementary schools circa 1976 but he ate it and liked it (BLECH!) and added alot of brown sugar and raisins to it

Nov19day014.jpg

Nov19day015.jpg

Then it was time to do the bus stop wait...why are we waiting and not driving you ask? Because my spoiled hubby has decided that he doesnt want to walk from the parking lot to the entrance....yet he has no problem walking from the bus stop??? I dont know, I stopped trying to figure him out years ago

The problem? No Epcot buses, I mean not a one. So when the HS bus pulls up I get on it and he stands there not knowing what he should do...finally he sees where my brain is heading and he follows, the obey thing that he promised to do 14 years ago is just now kicking in :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Now, what the heck are we going to do in Epcot?? More importantly, what are we gonna eat??????

Well, you did it now! Oh, the power of the written word (and let's not forget the pictures that are worth a thousand words! :rotfl:) DH and I both read your Cali Grill review and... I am canceling our 26th anniversary dinner there in February. Your experience reminded us all too much of our own experience there years ago. There is just no way I am risking 2 TS credits for another meal like yours! BTW, I hate when restaurants serve that ice cold, hard-as-a-rock butter! I also can't believe you couldn't get a French press of coffee with your dessert!

Thanks again for your fabulous reviews. I love the way you incorporate your conversations into your reports! DH had a chuckle of Todd calling your salad "weeds" because he says the same to me about the bitter greens that I like to eat.:thumbsup2

Epcot was a good choice because it was empty and we walked on all the rides. We shopped all the shops, we had a great time until it was a bad time. It was "what are we eating" time

ME: Ok Charlie (I dont know why I call him this but I always do), what are we eating?

DH: Dunno yet but I wanted to be waited on

ME: You get that every day of your life, what else is new?

DH: (Ignoring me), lets walk around and look at the menus

ME: Sure, you go that way and I will go this way and meet you back here (knowing I am not going anywhere ;))

He is catching on to me...this isnt going to fly

ME: Let me call dining....(interrupted by the King)

DH: That wont work and you know it, lets walk up

Right about now my head explodes and my headache has been gone for a while :scared1:

I call anyways and she says everything is open except Via Napoli, Le Cellier and Norway

ME: Todd, what do you want and I will book it

DH: Dont know yet

We are in Mexico now and we start on the way to Cananda...OH NO..he is not going to do this to me ...no he isnt. OH YES HE IS. He is eyeballing the menu, he is walking up to the podium by the menus, he is scoring a lunch ressie for 2:15. I faint, well not really but my mind did and it took me a second for my brain to kick start again

But wait for it....

DH: I really dont want to eat that late so lets see what else is out there and if we cannot find anything we will come back.

If anyone was by Canada around noon and saw a short woman climbing up a tall man and beating him over the head with her camera....that was me and I apologize

We skip England because he was afraid of the Mushy Peas. Chefs de France could seat us anytime, Morocco was a big no from me because I am not giving him the satisfaction of getting a TS walk in and have a belly dancer fall all over him :rotfl2: and then we pass Japan, USA and get to Italy....

Oh come on, seriously? Is he veering to the right, no, he cant be thinking...? Oh yes he is. Well wait, maybe he wants Tutto? Uh uh uh, crud. He is going to Via Napoli isnt he? Yeah.. he is. But there is no openings, the girl on the phone said so and she wouldnt lie to me would she? But then again nothing is impossible for The Man, the man without a freakin plan :rotfl2:

So we go, we sit, we order and we eat! Never in my life have I eaten at the same TS 3 times in one trip but I guess there is a first time for everything! Our server was Fabrizio and he was just lovely to look at

DH: (snapping his fingers at me to get my attention) Hello? Sadie Sadie Married Lady? You there? What do you want to eat?

Oh yeah, I married a German...so goes the Italian fantasy.....

We shared the Arancini...this was pretty ick. They were very heavy, pasty and salty. The sauce was excellent though. Citrico's were a million times better.

The mozzarella, basil and tomato salad was excellent. Creamy mozz, juicy tomatoes and fresh basil with a fantastic light olive oil...it was perfect!

Todd got the pepperoni with a side of pizza  The pepperoni pizza was just loaded with pepperoni and it was sliced very thin and super tasty. He loved this....I dont do pepperoni as it causes much havoc on me so I will take his word for it

I had the pizza with the parma ham, artichokes, eggplant and mushrooms. I didnt expect it to be served with 1 item on each slice...I thought the toppings would be spread out more. It was an fantastic pizza and I would get it again in a heartbeat

Now I promise you this is the last time we will post a VN review this trip

Okay, that is it. I am NOT reading your reviews any more. My stomach cannot take it; my eyes are red from crying because I'm laughing so hard. I cannot believe what Todd has pulled on this trip and I cannot believe he passed up LeCellier. 3 times, Nicki? 3 times? I am absolutely speechless.
