ASMovies or AKL for kids?

I have a decision to make....

We are going on our first trip "home" to the BWV 5/30-6/4. My DH and DS (5) are huge Star Wars fans, so we decided to go down 5/28-5/30 and stay at ASMovies (hoping for decent discount), so they could get an extra day at MGM for SWW. We decided on ASMovies b/c of price and DS (2) is a huge Toy Story fan.

However, we were unable to get the AP or AAA rate at ASMovies, so we would be paying $111 per night.

I have always wanted to stay at AKL (really want to try Boma and it just looks beautiful). I can get Standard View there for $135 per night.

Do you think there will be enough at AKL to entertain the kids? I feel really selfish switching, but I keep thinking they will see plenty of their favorite characters in the parks. My DS(2) does love animals and they both love swimming.

What would you do???

We took our kids to AKL when DS was 4 & DD 2. They both loved it!!! We had a Sav. view & they watched the animals in the morning while they ate their cereal on the balcony. The pool is really nice & the slide. If you kids like slides, the Allstar pools will not have that. My vote would be AKL, we really liked it.

AKL is wonderful for kids! My kids 2 and 4 loved it as well. The pool is zero entry and that was a huge plus for my kids. Boma is awesome. Good food choices for kids too.
