I just find them on the net :)

So where are the GF Tea pics? I am dying to see them, we are having afternoon tea on Dec 19 :cool1:

Surely Tea at the GF brought a smile to your mother's face? :goodvibes

Shhhhhh, I'm at work right now. I should start posting this evening if I get a chance. And while I don't want to ruin the fun, I do believe we captured something approximating a smile during afternoon tea. ;)

Allow me to offer you and Lionel this bit of photographic inspiration for the Plankton approved F&W approach:

<snip>

Yep, we are certifiably insane. :teeth:

First off, your trip report rocks. :teeth:

Second, I hate you, because for 2 days now I have not been able to get that "Duff beer for me, Duff beer for you..." song out of my head, and I can't quit seeing the little dolls swinging their little beer mugs around. LOL :lmao: I love that episode.

Lastly, WHERE did you get that stuffed Plankton?!? I must have one. MUST.

No, I wasn't shushing you, Cass... it was meant more as "shhhh, don't tell anyone I'm posting while I'm supposed to be writing up three loan requests here at my desk."

Guess it would have helped if I had included that helpful bit of info, huh? ;)

Gina,

First, thanks!

Second, don't you hate it when that happens? :teeth: We always sing that song when we ride It's a Small World. :lmao:

Third, we picked Plankton up at the Universal Store at Citywalk back in May. He was only $10 - a real bargain!!

Hey, can I have a loan? I'm going to Disney in 2 weeks :)

If I could, I would, but I deal in commercial lending. It's soul-numbingly dull sometimes, but it pays for vacation. ;)

Welcome back one and all, we've finally made it to the last full dining day of our trip. Hmmmm, I wonder...if I laid this dining report out alongside the human intestinal tract, which would be longer? :teeth:

Today is Friday, October 27th and we are sad because we have to go home tomorrow morning. To try to numb the pain we do what we do best...have breakfast!!

Sing with me....

Oh by gosh, by golly
it's time for waffles at the Galley...

Jason and I discovered the Yacht Club Galley a few years ago for breakfast and it's become something of a tradition for us because I can order a giant Mickey Waffle and they serve a meaaaaaaan cafe mocha (are you reading this California Grill? You could learn a thing or two!!). :teeth:
It's never overly crowded here and we've never needed an ADR, regardless of when we show up. Breakfast here has always been a quiet, laid back affair.

Before ordering any food, I order my heart's desire...a cafe mocha!
DSC01629.jpg

Look at that...the cup overflowing with chocolate-fortified uber-caffeinated goodness, topped with far too much whipped cream for 8AM, drizzled with chocolate sauce...my hands are shaking just writing about it. I think I'm going to have to go make some coffee now...

OK, I'm back. The percolations are imminent. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

***I'll send my sticky toffee recipe to the first person who knows where I lifted that line from.*** :teeth:

Predictable as always, I order the Giant Mickey Waffle for my breakfast.
DSC01630.jpg

I can't say that I order this because it's the best tasting waffle ever, because it's not. It's more the novelty of eating Mickey's flour-enriched head drenched in maple syrup that I like.

Jason is also predictable, and he orders the Three-Egg Omlete which comes with bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, cheddar cheese, ham, sausage, and bacon served with breakfast potatoes and a biscuit.
DSC01633.jpg

That is one big honking plate of food! And he ate every bite of it, too. Wait a minute! Ham...sausage...bacon...!!!!!! The Homer Simpson pork-trifecta!!! Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jon ordered blueberry pancakes...
DSC01632.jpg

Pretty good sized portions, don't you think?

And last, but not least...the Grimace, uh, my mom, ordered Eggs Your Way: two eggs cooked your way with breakfast potatoes, choice of bacon or sausage, and a biscuit.
DSC01631.jpg

Eggs her way are scrambled, which is fine by me, but those potatoes are disgusting. It looks like the cook blew chunks on her breakfast.

Enough about that.

Everyone was most satisfied with breakfast and everything we orderd was covered under the dining plan, inluding those delightful cafe mochas. If you don't mind a bit of a slower start to your morning you should give the Galley a try for breakfast. It's yummy! And they also have a buffet if you and your family prefer that over ordering a plated breakfast.

We remain very happy with our breakfast experiences here and will continue to visit the YCG for unhealthy pork servings and decapitated mouse heads. :teeth:

That would be from The Simpsons

Said by Mr. Burns in the episode "Homer the Smithers"

Can I have that recipe now :)

Excellent! Even to the point of naming the episdoe - color me impressed! :teeth:

Will you PM me with your email address? It's a long recipe and I don't know how well it would work with the PM space we have here. But I can email it nice and clean to you with no problem at all.

Cass, that is a great picture!!

My husband is laughing...he thinks we're all insane (of course, he's nuts too!). :teeth:

I can't believe it is almost over :guilty: Although I believe I have gained weight this week because reading your report always makes me want a snack - usually chocolate in nature. ;)

I apologize for my rudeness...

First, I should have stated how wonderful your trip report is. My eagerness to be the first to post the answer clearly trumpeted my normal, polite self.

Also, when I am suffering from insomnia at 4am, I have pulled up your thread to drool over your pictures... Let's just say Food Porn + Pregnant Insomnia Lady = Weird food creations at odd hours of the night!!!! :stir:

Thank you again!

Courtney

I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but man that cafe mocha looks decadent. I could go for one of those right now too. :thumbsup2

I agree, that cafe mocha looks awesome! Where is this restaurant?

Yacht Club Galley. It's uh....at the Yacht Club resort. ;)
(It's right off the lobby, similar to the way Cape May Cafe is off the lobby
at the Beach Club resort next door.) Love my Epcot resorts!

I've gotten the buffet breakfast at Yacht Club Galley, and it's quite good.
NEXT time though....cafe mocha for me, baby!

If you want an interesting buffet for breakfast or lunch, Fresh at the
Dolphin is also a good choice.

I wish I had one of those mochas right now, too! I think that the Yacht Club Galley may have one of the best mochas on property. :thumbsup2

Hey guys - I had to share.... we got the Chef's Table for our anniversary in May!!

Super-dooper food-porn to look forward to next year! :teeth:

Hi Brenda!

I wanted to ask you about taking pics, I plan to take food pics during my trip - there are 4 of us so thats 4 appitizers, 4 meals, 4 desserts etc... did anyone ever give you a dirty look for taking flash pics during meals (especially at the nicer restaurants) ?

Hey Cass! :wave2:

I felt a bit strange the first time I took pictures and once or twice we did get a funny look from people - the funniest was at Raglan Road, but then I heard the woman say "I wish we'd thought of that." :lmao:

I asked when we were at Victoria & Albert's because I didn't want to be a disruptive presence in the dining room, but our waitress told me that it was fine and that people do it all the time.

Take lots of pictures and be sure to share them with us!! :goodvibes
