Transportation to/from airport from Universal Resort

Didn't have any issue using Uber on our Feb '24 trip.

Got our bags from luggage claim, ordered Uber. App told us to head directly outside our baggage claim and driver was there in 3-4 minutes.

There are some inconvenient service fees that add to the total, to Cabana Bay it was $58ish bucks.

@Keladry84

You can take Uber directly from Terminal C.
There are signs directing you to ride share pickup. We have done this several times and luckily waited no more than 10 minutes for driver.

How do you get to that? The only way I’ve seen to exit terminal c is the airport rail….Im assuming you wouldn’t need to take that if exiting from c.

At Terminals A and B, drop-off is at the departures curb level 3 and pick-ups are from the arrivals curb level 2. At Terminal C, drop-off is at the departures curb level 2 and pick-ups are from the arrivals curb level 6.

I just booked a Vacation package, and added on the one way airport transfer, checked out and have received an email confirmation. BUT, where do I add the flight information?

Edited: Now that I am reading some of the shuttle issues, I am wondering if we should cancel the shuttle and try an Uber instead? Have not used Uber before, is this easy to do? How do you know if it's a safe ride?

Can’t comment on the uber part, but to enter the flight information, after the package is paid in full, you get sent an E travel document email. In the section for the superstar shuttle, there is a link that will bring you to where you enter the information.

I personally haven’t had any issues with the shuttle. If you ever took the magical express it current mears connect shuttle to disney, it works about the same. At the airport you checkin at the desk (instead if scanning a QR code) and they tell you where to go. Leaving the hotel, you wait in the shuttle area out front.

I have not taken the superstar shuttle in a very long time as I had issues with it in the past.

On my recent trip I see they now have large motor coaches with Universal wraps on them.
I saw them picking up and dropping off many times - so it seems like they may have gotten their act together with that.
I was waiting for my uber at 6:30 Am when the bus showed up - so they must start early.

Still not sure what happens when you arrive outside "normal" hours - but as long as I am arriving midday I will probably give it a try.
As a solo traveler its a better deal than about 70 round trip for uber.

Mears got the contract to operate the Superstar Shuttle a few years back. It was ESCOT previously. It seems to have drastically improved since Mears took over, hence the full size coaches with Universal wraps, etc.

Cool thanks for the info - I suspect with Mears I wont run into the issue of being stranded at 1AM for over an hour - they have many more options for off hours I'd assume.
