Arrival time for Fantasmic?

We're going to be in the Magic Kingdom on Monday and want to go to MGM for Fantasmic at 7:00 that night. We'll be driving from the MK. What time should we leave to get there?

Be at the Studios no later than 6:00, and by the time you get to the seating and such, there should be 40-50 minutes before showtime. So figure another 5-10 minutes to drive yourself(and more time if you take Disney Transportation)

We're meeting some friends there that will be arriving around 6:30. Is that to late for them to get into MGM and/or Fantasmic?

We were at Fantasmic on Friday (Dec 5th) and people were still finding seats @ 6:45. Others at the Poly said the same thing about last Monday's (Dec 1st) show. Don't know how much earlier the stadium will fill as the crowds increase next week.
