Armed forces tickets

Has anyone recently bought the new tickets that they are advertising? I read when this started there was a a lot of confusion, etc and people were getting really angry. Has everything settled down? We are going in the summer with my dad who is 100% disabled retired with full benefits. I apologize that I don't know what class that would be called. I believe he is eligble but we are calling SOG to find out. Just wanted to see if they had ironed out the answers.

The biggest gray area was the retired reservist under 60. From what I've seen from a fellow Diser's expirence they are qualified. Check out Cheshire's ticket stickey all your answers are there.

You can also check with your local MWR/ITT office for specifics. I think things are pretty well straightened out now....at least I hope so. We were in the "gray area retiree" situation....retired under age 60....but they decided to extend it to that group as well. I was very impressed with how quickly Disney responded to that situation. It saved us a bunch of money and we got to do more parks than we would have originally.
