Are You Wearing A Costume To MNSSHP?

My twin 3 y.o. DD's are going to be "princess witches", which to them is a pretty witch. My 7 y.o. DS is going as the headless horseman.

I'm Minnie (won't be many of those, do ya think?). My husband will be Clueless, and my parents are going to be Grumpy and Cranky.

Can you tell the three members of my party that are being forced to go? :)
:rotfl2: :lmao: yah me too.

Maybe we will see you there we will be the  group of 12

My son is going to be a football player, my daughter will be Tink one time and a football player the other (we're going twice). My hubby and I are both going to be ref's.

From the oldest (that'd be me, but I'm only 53) to the youngest at 15 months. We were originally going to be Snow White (our 9 year old granddaughter) and the 7 large dwarfs. But we opted for pirates. I wanted the little one to be dressed as the parrot, but I'm afraid that it will be too hot!

We are a party of 13...at first we wanted to try and all do something to a theme but that kinda fell through. So my little cousins are going as Sorceror Mickey, Fairies and a Pirate. My brother wants to go as Tarzan but he hasn't gotten a costume yet so we'll see on that. I havnt decided if i wanna be a fairy too, ill decide the day before we leave. My parents and aunts and uncles are dressing in Halloween themed things, my mom actually got a shirt from Old Navy too. And if i dont dress up im gonna dress in black and orange and get some halloween accessories, necklaces and earrings maybe. Whatever gets me in the Halloween mood!!! :hmghost:

I am having the absolute most difficult time trying to find a good costume. We're going on October 19, so it could still be hot. I've been to online costume stores, party city, and Spirit halloween store and can't find a costume. Any ideas on a neat, easy-to-pack, costume that isn't hot?

My DH is wearing a Mr Incredible shirt that says crime fighter on the back. I'll be wearing a white t shirt that says Boo. Now don't be too awed by our costumes, they are really very simple. LOL! Creative I am not!

My DW has made us t-shirts that have ourt names on the front and the Original Mickey Mouse Club Emblem on the back. We have our ears and we are set as Mousekateers!!!!!!!!

Going to MNSSHP on October 27:

Two sisters and I are dressing as the three amigos....

Darling Daughter - Dorothy (Wizard of Oz)

Dear grand-nephews - 8yr old - superman, 2 yr old ?

Dear Neice & Nephew-in-law - renaissance woman & popeye

Dear Nephew - Star Wars Character

Dear Husband.....himself!

DH & I, along with DD have gone other years, and have not gotten dressed, but with the two grand nephews, we thought it would be great, not to mention that my two sisters and I are going to "Dia de Los Muertos", and thought it would be fun to dress in Mexican garb, so the costumes will be used twice!!!!!!

 This is so great  Does anyone have pictures?

I am getting so excited to go  38 day to MNSSHP :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

DD (5) wanted to be Cinderella and wanted DH and I to dress up too, but DH didn't want to. So, I am making us t-shirts, mine has DD's name and a picture of the Fairy-godmother below and on the back I am putting "I make all her dreams come true". DH's has her name above a picture of Prince Charming and on the back say "She makes all my dreams come true". We're going 10/30 and can't wait! :cool1:

I wore a costume, of Maggie from "Home on the Range" last year, and my mom and I went on October 2. I was so hot, I ended up taking off the costume and stuffing it into my bookbag. Here's me and Scarecrow Mickey, just before I took it off...it's fairly obvious I'm about to pass out!

I'm so excited, I had to cancel my trip over the weekend of 9/15 because of school and I was so bummed...now I just booked a weekend trip for the Nemo preview, and I'm going to MNSSHP on 10/16! I'm so excited! Except no one in my family can go with me as of right now, so if anyone wants to adopt me for the weekend, feel free :) I'm going to go to Target or something and get a costume that's a little more low key and airy, so I can feel festive without wearing something cumbersome.

DH and nephews going as pirates I of course am going as Maleficent. Disney Store had costumes on sale and I got mine at a great rate.

Absolutely :) I'm going as Syaoran, a character from a Japanese anime. If you see a really tall guy walking around with a big green hooded cape, a black sleeveless shirt, and white pants at MNSSHP on the 20th of October...that's probably me so say hi! I can't wait...it's already getting pretty cold up here and it's going to be a perfect time for a break :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Definitely dress up! Last year 9 of us went to MNSSHP on Halloween night. Ages ranged from 23 to 60... all of us kids at heart. We had a great time! My sister spent the summer making our costumes. We were "decked" out as Disney playing cards, sort of like Alice in Wonderland, but each of us had our favorite Disney Character on our card. My DS did a fabulous job hand painting the front of the "cards" on fabric, then she appliqued a castle motif on the back. We were approached by a Disney person who invited us to be in a pre-parade ride down Main Street in a fire truck! Then were given a special place at the end of the parade route from which to watch the parade. For a family of WDW veterans who have been visiting since 1972, this was the experience of a lifetime! It was an opportunity we wouldn't have had if we weren't willing to dress up for Halloween.

We'll probably wear our Trading Spaces shirts and be home renovators just like we were last year. However, since this will be the first trip for just hubby and me since our only child started college this fall, I'm tempted to just strap some bird's nests on our heads and go as empty nesters!

:sunny: We also went as a Trading Spaces red team last year. Our DD was dressed as a little carpenter. What party were you at? We went to the 9/30 one.

:sunny: My DD6 and I are going to the 9/22 party. We are going to be Ketchup and Relish (couldn't find a yellow shirt to be mustard LOL) if we get the costumes made up and they look nice. I bought a red and a green shirt on clearance @ Walmart, got some sew on letters, red and green wigs and red and green foam hats. We will put the lettering on each so everyone will know what we are. LOL Not sure how they will come out. They sell actual costumes of these but @ $20 each so I figured we could do our own. We also looked at being Salt + Pepper or if more than 2 of us going, crayons. Same concept, but add a few more colored shirts that say crayon instead. Another thought was to wrap ribbon and a bow around our shirts and be Xmas gifts. What idea sounds best before we do up the shirts?

:sunny: Last minute decision so we haven't gotten our tix yet. Can you get them at Pop or just at MK?
