My dad said No way is he dressing up. Little does he know we already got him a costume

That sorta like my DH he think he is only wear Vampire Teeth as a costume.

As long a it is not truely scary I think it would be great. I read on another board that if a mask is too scary the front gate is turning it away as it is a not so scary party.

Some of the Anime is very beautiful. Hope you have lots of fun.

My friend and I are going as Haunted Mansion Ballroom people. We decided on a costume with a dress that was a nice slim one-piece for her, but that was still tattered and gray. My costume looks sort of like the ghost of Jacob Marley, but feels like a light overshirt and sweatpants. They're nice rather elaborate costumes, but are light enough that we won't have to worry about the heat.

We're going on the 19th and 20th, so we got two different costumes each. We'll also be going as Ed Wood Martians (I.E. Giant silver jumpsuit and neckpiece for me, metallic dress with elbow-bands and belt for her).
I'm worried that these will be a little too hot because they're silver-colored, but I think once night settles in, we'll be fine.

I have pictures of us in these, but the boards won't let me post any links until I've posted a certain amount of times.

I realize it's kind of ridiculous to get two costumes for two nights, but Halloween's always been my favorite holiday, and I haven't celebrated it in any way for almost a decade, so I got really into this.

I think having two Costumes are wonderful especially if this is your favorite holiday,and the one for the HM are a super idea, we are dressing the DC in different costumes each day, I still don't know about all the adult But I am trying

DH and I are going all-out this year....Belle and Her Prince. Here's me...no pics of DH in his costume yet. We'll be there on the 2nd and the 5th...please stop and say hi if y'all see us in the park!

I wanted the whole family to dress up so I asked DS9 if he wanted to be pirates with me, DM, and when my DD5 found out she said she wanted to be a pirate too. Then DD said he would dress up, I almost had a stroke, never thinking DD would even think about dressing up. So were all set, a family of pirates. We'll be there September 29th.
We're leaving the day after tommorrow, I am almost as excited to go as I was for my wedding day. Don't tell DD.

Love the outfit it should be great, I would put in some ventilation
so you won't be to hot or check out different kinds of material to see what would work best.( there is leather with ventilation for under the arm areas)

My wife and I are going down in October for the party but I am at a loss as to what to wear. She's going as an angel but I am not sure. I haven't dressed up for Halloween in years. I want to do something but if it's going to be hot I don't want to wear something too heavy or plastic. I am open to ideas.

My idea of Deviled Egg is OFFICIALLY open for some other clever person! Ive changed my mind. I'm going as a pirate!

DEVILED EGG: Wear all solid white into the parks. Bring along a piece of oval shaped felt about 14" X 20" oval in mustard or gold yellow. Sprinkle or splatter some red paint (paprika) on the felt and let it dry. All you have to do is carry in the felt and some savety pins (or you could velcrove it... shoot, if you have a cheap solid white T shirt you could just spray paint the oval on the shirt!) and wear devil horns! Voila Deviled Egg!

I opted out because I couldnt find any good devil ears for a decent price. Besides, I really wanted to join the hordes of pirates.

Now, mind you, Im not a conformist, I dont usually go with the general populas, actually Im usually the odd ball in EVERYTHING! But I just cant help but think it will be fun "Arrrrrghing" at all the other pirates!
Besides, I can do the pirate talk VERY well, and can almost quote POTC BP in entirety. Ive seen it that many times, so im taking my true place as yet another pirate!

Ok, a pirate is never bad...but I did see devil headbands at Target, next to the dollar spot for $2.50. So, the devil egg idea is now spreading rampantly...thanks to you!

The Vash costume is a work in progress since I'm reworking it to make it female friendly. My only worry is the guns for NSSHP since I also attend the occasional anime con(when the fake guns would be needed)
