I have heard quite a few others mentioning the different activities at OKW, HH, and VB. Has anyone heard of these activities being at BCV? My DH, DS (5), and I will be satying there July 5-10 and would be interested in trying new things. We have done the commando style vacation many times but, this will be a realxing one "we hope". We want to pool hop and do some of the activities closer to home.

the bc/yc have always had the "garden tour" - we took it twice before bcv was built.

The lifeguards at SAB always have activities going on for the kids in the pool.
One time the kids "buried" a guard in the sand in the kiddie area. There was a sandcastle contest in the sandy area too. Another time my older DS joined an organized volleyball game in the activity area of the pool.

The Sandcastle club has activities for the kids that are there for the night. My DS once went on a treasure hunt in the BC lobby that was lead by the counselors from the Club. I am sure they hid the items earlier in the day! :)

Enjoy!

We were at BCV last week and were not given any sheet with activities nor were told of any activities. We also swam at SaB 2 days and did not notice any activities.

We still had a great time and loved the resort.

I don't think the BCV have a set activity schedule like HH or OKW, because they don't have a community hall like the other two. What I wonder is can you at least get in at the activities at the other resorts as a DVC member or would you have to be staying at that particular resort (like are the OKW activities open to all DVC members or only those staying at OKW)?

These activities did seem to be "on the fly" when the attendance was higher in the areas. We didn't receive any documented activitiy events or times either.

I guess we were just in the right place at the right time! :smooth:
