Anybody use it? Likes, dislikes?

Do you use it on paper as well as pictures? Does it smear ink? A friend would like to scrap some letters, the real deal not scans and would like them to be preserved.

I've used it and not had a problem. I always wonder if it actually does anything. I guess we will never know...

I use it too for news paper print. I think it does help. I have a huge file of all the schools news paper clippings. some that haven't been sprayed look a little aged. Not bad but do.
The stuff stinks when you spray it.
I would never spray photos. Only print/ink.
I would test the letters before I sprayed it and would start on the back, let it dry then spray the front.

Thanks fore the info. I may call a friend at Mystic Seaport they have a lot of documents that they save so I'll see what they use.

Okay, now I'm terribly confused.

Are there different sized bottles? Because last week I decided against it because I saw it at Michaels for $44. Then today I saw it at JoAnn's for $14 (and with the 40% off coupon I have that would be sweet). However, both boxes looked the same size.

What piece of this puzzle am I missing?
