Ok Dis world I am asking for ideas for FEs. I have cruised numerous times but I an a neophyte when it comes to the Fish extender and ideas of what to put in them! :cheer2::

FE UPDATE:

Since I see alot of people want updates and numbers ive decided to close the FE on March 1st and could post the groups broken down by the next day.
I think that since everyone had to be PIF this week that gives them 2 weeks to find the board and add as they have been doing and I think that is more then fair for everyone.
I also am hoping that more GTY's get there cabins by then. It would be very helpful if all the GTY's could email me there cabins as they get them so I can add them because there are alot right now.Taking lapotop to LA so can print updated lists prior to meet.
We are at 71 cabins now so that is working good for groups of 25 as requested.
There are 2 cabins who will be listed twice as those 4 individuals are sharing a room.
Hope this helps!

Heather

Thank you for update Heather....

I am glad to see that there will be at least a couple of boys around Kaleb's age on this cruise. We are hoping to be able to do DL on Saturday. It will just be me and my son since my husband is not too much of a Disney fan. Please don't hold that against him. :) He is one that can go to Disney once every 10 to 15 years and he is good. He lets me have Disney cruises since he says its completely different then the parks. We also have late dining. We tried main on my sons first cruise and it did not work for us. He is a night owl so that helps out.

Off to reserve the car rentals and I think I will be done with getting everything booked.

Kristan

We plan on doing both parks, and will probably do DL on Saturday. We get in Friday, and will do CA that day, since I understand it is a smaller less time consuming park. We have been to WDW several times, so we HAVE to check out DL since we will be in the area already!..

Glad they added afternoon tours....
:surfweb: We are going to the Arizona Memorial & City tour @ 8:00am get back by 2:00pm and 2:45pm off to Aulani for the tour....
Work out very well :cool1:

Anybody else for these times? :confused3

Robin & Angel "D" :thumbsup2

:goodvibes

Corina, Heather you are amazing thank you so much for organizing all the fun extras on our trip.

I am very thankful for all your hard work, like Val you have all spread a triple dose of pixie dust.

Hugs until Hawaii!!! 72 days!!!

I don't think we will be able to go on a tour of the resort. We are doing the Arizona and city tour and get back around 2 and then doing a laua with the Facebook group. Anyone else doing this?

Was there a post about paying for the scrapbook class?

I also booked the DVC tour. I have the 9:15 AM tour and have a studio reserved but needed transportation. When I called DVC, they said that if I did not take the shuttle back, the return to the ship was on me. Thought the tour would help introduce DW and I to the resort. After the tour we can check in and enjoy the resort amenities. Anyone else using the tour and have a reservation at Aulani?

They are giving me the runaround now. On hold on the phone. They want to know the department the email came from. I have be in touch with the cruise dept and resort dept and both are clueless.

Please help...who do I need to speak to?

Thanks

Isn't the luau in Maui? That's the one i'm signed up for on FB. Is there another one? If there is-I am unaware of it.

Well, I am in full cruise planning mood now. The supplies that I still needed for the kids Fish Extender gifts arrived over the last couple of days so I made a start on those. I have also ordered the last of the supplies that I need for the gift for the ladies. Once I finished the gifts for the girls, they should hopefully be here. I realized that I am also short some supplies for the boys so I have ordered those, too.

I also ordered my business cards that I will leave with the Fish Extender gifts plus a t shirt for me. Graham has been teasing me on the last cruise that he wants a t shirt saying "Taking Stitch to Hawaii and leaving him there." A very talented designer made me to great graphics, which I had printed as t shirts for him for Christmas. I fell in love with one of them myself, but had the text altered to just say "Taking Stitch to Hawaii".

The next step is reserving our seating for the return flight and updating our ESTAs, which I will do over the weekend.

Thanks

A few pages back there was a phone number --starting with 855...I will look as I am missing a number. It is not the normal DVC toll free number. The agent I spoke to said they had been having lots of bookings and was very aware.

Edited to say 855-831-3114 but you have to be DVC members...

The DVC e-mail had an 855 number to call. not the 800 number. if you need the number PM me and I will send it to you

Not sure what you mean by luau with facebook group? The only two luau's I've seen are the Disney one and the alternate one that is in Maui on Saturday not Honolulu on Sunday. I thought Facebook one was the same alternate one we have signups for on roll sheet on Saturday???

The luau from Facebook is on Maui.. It is the Feast at Lele..

Hey All -

The Alternate Luau that I am arranging is in Maui at the Feast at Lele.

Although the idea was launched over in Facebook, I think folks might be a bit confused, because the sign up is on the Roll Call spreadsheet that Stephanie (aka Brooklyn) created here on the DISBoards as it is a DISBoard event.

If anyone would like to still sign up to participate, they can by signing up here until March 1st:

Thanks!

Well DW and I took one of the new designs and ordered a couple of t-shirts....hopefully the come out nice and if so we will attempt to order some more designs....we also ordered 10 magnets. Hopefully they are good and we will bring them on the ship and share since we only need 1 for our refrigerator......Will see when we get them.....they say possibly 14 days so we will let ya know....almost down to 10 weeks to go. By the way....we are arriving on Saturday night and staying at the Marriott by the airport.....anyone else staying there?
Tom & Marilou

Hi Tom, I just had to tell you that my DH John grew up in Bellmore, NY. He was the first graduating class of John F. Kennedy HS. It's a small world.

How will we pay for this? Is is something that we need to pay for in advance to secure that the group spot is reserved? Just curious when we need the funds!

I booked and paid in full last week for 4/29 Hawaii Sailing. I have sailed Disney 8 times before and have participated in many events with the groups. I am trying to do this with this cruise, but I am lost. I don't know where to start and what to do because this thread has 3 threads has the longest thread I ever seen or that I have participated in. I have limited amount of time since we booked last minute and would like to join with our family some events. Please help, thanks.

Hi Mermaid.....check with page one in this section. It lists a lot of activities and who is organizing them. Hurry up though. We have some cut off dates that you'll have to check.

I'm going to set up a PayPal system just like Val/Bob did for the shirts.

I need to give them a single payment by April 5th, so I'll collect $$ via PayPal between March 2nd and April 1st and then make a big payment to them for all those who have paid by then.

Stay tuned...:happytv:
