A few pages back there was a phone number --starting with 855...I will look as I am missing a number. It is not the normal DVC toll free number. The agent I spoke to said they had been having lots of bookings and was very aware.

Edited to say 855-831-3114 but you have to be DVC members...

The DVC e-mail had an 855 number to call. not the 800 number. if you need the number PM me and I will send it to you

Thank you-I was finally able to book the 3:45pm. She did say if that one filled up they would add on a 4:15. The 3:15 had filled up and that's why they added the later one. The 3:45 is still cutting it close for us, so hoping they do add on the 4:15

The luau from Facebook is on Maui.. It is the Feast at Lele..

That's what I thought-thanks.

Heather posted an interim count earlier in the week and mentioned that she will leave this open until March 15th.

:flower3: thanks Corinna

FE UPDATE:

Since I see alot of people want updates and numbers ive decided to close the FE on March 1st and could post the groups broken down by the next day.
I think that since everyone had to be PIF this week that gives them 2 weeks to find the board and add as they have been doing and I think that is more then fair for everyone.
I also am hoping that more GTY's get there cabins by then. It would be very helpful if all the GTY's could email me there cabins as they get them so I can add them because there are alot right now.Taking lapotop to LA so can print updated lists prior to meet.
We are at 71 cabins now so that is working good for groups of 25 as requested.
There are 2 cabins who will be listed twice as those 4 individuals are sharing a room.
Hope this helps!

Heather

Hi HeTher, I'm ok with either date, I just had an opportunity to get more of my gifts but if we are about 75, I'm got to go. Thinking of joining all the groups. Not sure yet will let you know. Just a quick question, will you by any chance be putting names all the names of the participants on the groups just in case some of our dis friends are not on out group? Thanks for you answer, you both are fantastic.

Today I almost finished making all my transportation transfer ressies using car services and car rentals. I just have one more phone call to reserve car service in CA then I'm done. I got a jeep rental for the afternoon in Maui. I have an excursion in the morning.

On the big Island we're doing a helicopter tour. I'm excited to do that...it's non DCL so it's less expensive. On Maui we're doing the Atlantis submarine. I like that I'll be in the air and under the water and on the ship out on the water while I'm in Hawaii. I think I'm covering it from all aspects.:laughing::laughing:

Sounds like a great plan. Thanks for organizing this.

Count us in please!.. My oldest son will turn 5 in the middle of June. We have late seating for dinner and are linked with the DIS. :dance3:

Maybe we should plan a a game at the WideWorld of Sports for the first sea day morning for everyone that will be traveling with young children? I would be more than happy to put something together.

That sounds like a great idea to me!. Thanks for volunteering to put it together!.. I think the kids would love it. And it would give them a chance to get aquainted, and maybe even say hi as they recognize them around the ship! :worship::cool1:

Oooh, I love this idea!

The following folks have indicated they have "lil men" (4-8) in their families but there may be more:

SanDiegoSteph
AlohaDisney
SShaw10060
Lexa
cquick
gdaneowner
kris24
amyreneemt
Rasmus Faber/Just Love Eeyore
SpeedyWil & DeannaMDavis
TheGooFTroop/cristaid

Oh, and of course those with "lil princesses" or with even younger 'lil men" might want to join us too!!

So much fun - yea!

Stephanie

We plan on doing both parks, and will probably do DL on Saturday. We get in Friday, and will do CA that day, since I understand it is a smaller less time consuming park. We have been to WDW several times, so we HAVE to check out DL since we will be in the area already!..

We'll in at both DL and DCA on Sat. I like the idea of a get together the first sea day.

I just wanted to let everyone know this is the first day you can book tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial ahead of time (it only costs $1.50/ticket). In the past they were first come first serve and your boat to the memorial may have been several hours after your arrival. If you're planning to go to Pearl Harbor on your own I would highly recommend doing this to prevent a long wait once you arrive. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.recreation.gov. Some times on the day we are there are already gone.

Hey All -

The Alternate Luau that I am arranging is in Maui at the Feast at Lele.

Although the idea was launched over in Facebook, I think folks might be a bit confused, because the sign up is on the Roll Call spreadsheet that Stephanie (aka Brooklyn) created here on the DISBoards as it is a DISBoard event.

If anyone would like to still sign up to participate, they can by signing up here until March 1st:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...qTlE&authkey=CM3s8vIH&authkey=CM3s8vIH#gid=25

Thanks!
Stephanie

thanks for the update - and for organizing this - if I have my own car, is there a cost difference? I may just keep my rental and do it that way...

I think the "lil princesses" should also join the "lil men". Will make a nice "lil cruises" meet and greet!..

I also have a 2 yr old "lil man" who might also find him a toddler sized buddy!.. :cheer2:

Stephanie....

I was wondering since you are from San Diego if 6 hours at the zoo is enough time to see the highlights? It is a dream of my Mom's to visit the San Diego Zoo and I noticed that there is a bus tour that can pick us up at the DLH and take us to the zoo....total time at the zoo is approximately 6 hours....is that enough?

Thanks in advance

Thanks I also joined the Facebook group and the have been much help. Planning a last minute trip like this can be so hard. Thanks all!
Hi Mermaid.....check with page one in this section. It lists a lot of activities and who is organizing them. Hurry up though. We have some cut off dates that you'll have to check.

Thanks for the information. I just reserved my tickets for Pearl Harbor. I heard the stand by lines can be brutal.

Yes, I think 6 hours is plenty of time and even would allow you a break for some lunch. Unless you want to partake of all of the "specialty tours" you should be able to see everything in that time.

I would highly recommend the double decker bus tour (sit on the top on the left side) as it gives you some narration and allows you to figure out what you want to go back and see. You can skip the kids section if it is just you and your mom, but DON'T miss the Elephant Oddessy - it's amazing!

Enjoy
Steph
