I made a mistake ordering the Pearl Harbor Tickets, so I have an extra for the 10 am tour, if anyone would like it. shoot me a pm.

FE UPDATE:

Since I see alot of people want updates and numbers ive decided to close the FE on March 1st and could post the groups broken down by the next day.
I think that since everyone had to be PIF this week that gives them 2 weeks to find the board and add as they have been doing and I think that is more then fair for everyone.
I also am hoping that more GTY's get there cabins by then. It would be very helpful if all the GTY's could email me there cabins as they get them so I can add them because there are alot right now.Taking lapotop to LA so can print updated lists prior to meet.
We are at 71 cabins now so that is working good for groups of 25 as requested.
There are 2 cabins who will be listed twice as those 4 individuals are sharing a room.
Hope this helps!

Heather

Hi Heather! Sounds great! Thanks for organizing this! :flower3:

I am not crazy enough to think we should organize this around our planning so far, but 24 really works best for us...I'm sure we can improvise one more if we do 25...just thought I'd pitch the idea of 24. :rolleyes1

Thanks again for doing this - it's one of our favorite activities on the Dis - coming back to see what kind of goodies we got in our FE. Kinda like your stocking on Christmas morning:santa:...only better because it goes on for days. :thumbsup2

Here's the last message I got from DCL Gifts about the HI Logo Merchandise...I was asking about the Platinum discount and if there would be HI Logo Merch onboard as well:

"It has been confirmed the same type of Hawaii Logo Merchandise will be available on the ship to purchase with your Platinum discount. With that being said, availability can go quickly since most Guests will be interested in purchasing these special items. If you want to be assured of getting the exact item you want, it may be best to pre-order so it will be waiting for you in the stateroom when you arrive. However, the discount will not be available on pre-order items.":confused3

I wonder, if we pre-order & don't like it, we should be able to return it to the store, right????

I just wanted to let everyone know this is the first day you can book tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial ahead of time (it only costs $1.50/ticket). In the past they were first come first serve and your boat to the memorial may have been several hours after your arrival. If you're planning to go to Pearl Harbor on your own I would highly recommend doing this to prevent a long wait once you arrive. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.recreation.gov. Some times on the day we are there are already gone.

Thank you!

I'm planning to wear my Hawaiian sun dress.

I was thinking about a sun dress but I got to thinking about the seating. You are offered mat seating or table and chairs. I don't want to worry about flashing people either. :rotfl2:

Thank you! I had it written down as tomorrow as the first day to buy tickets. I probably would not have gotten the time we wanted if I waited until tomorrow. There were only a few 10:00am tickets left when I purchased our tickets. So Pearl Harbor in the morning and then the rest of the day relaxing at Aulani. Can't wait.

Thanks for the tip! I have had the same problem in DC with the National Monument when it was open

Just curious what the ladies are wearing to the luau.

Yep, I'm shorts and a shirt all the way! Mat seating was the BEST, but I'd rather not worry about how I'm sitting.

Thanks so much for the information. We've ordered our tickets.

annual pass discounts do apply! that amounts to more than the platinum discount in many cases.

Really, an annual pass will get you a discount? When did they start that on the ship? I have been told in the past that they do not accept AP discounts. I have a premium AP so that would be great.

I have to agree. We are traveling with friends one of which is a CM and they don't even get their discount. To me it's worth no discount to avoid the craziness in the store. We will see what the better half says. I hope they do the same with the pins so we do not have to wait in line for hours for them.

Thanks....You bet they will offer special merchandise. Why waste that opportunity. I hope they have the pre-order forms like they have done for the other cruises......I wonder when it will be released?

They have never honoured our annual pass on the ship?

I stopped carrying it.

Heck, worth stuffing it into the wallet and trying.

Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks for the tip. I had n o clue about pre-ordering......

thanks for the update - and for organizing this - if I have my own car, is there a cost difference? I may just keep my rental and do it that way...

Related question on the Luau --- the ship leaves at 10:30 and the luau is over at 10:30......what is the time to turn in the rental car and get back to the ship????? I too am wondering about keeping or turning in the rental????

Alright, folks----today is the day. In order to insure that I can get all the lanyards and supplies designed, ordered, shipped and prepared before the trip (or, more importantly, before our wedding which is a week before this trip), I need to place orders this weekend.

That means that, as promised, today is the cutoff to request lanyards and be guaranteed that you can get them. (Note: I will be ordering a small stock of extras over and above the ones on the current list----so that any real latecomers to the cruise have a chance...but that stock will be on a "first come first served while supplies last basis".....and when they're gone, they're gone.)

So that means if you want lanyards please please please send me an email to place your order before 5pm EST today!!! (directions for placing an order are on the first page of the thread or on the lanyards tab of the main roll call spreadsheet in google).

The bus transfer they have set up is returning at 9pm I think. I have to figure out how long it will take to get from the Luau to the rental location, then add in some time to get back to the ship. I try to get back about 30 minutes before all aboard, so that means 10pm, if the rental place takes about 15 minutes, then I just need the time from the Luau to the rental place - most likely around the same time of 9 to 915pm.
