For those of you heading up all the various activities...I couldn't remember what I have signed up for already because I didn't write it down. So if you get multiple sign ups, just consider me being over excited! LOL

It will be weird for me to not get to the ship first thing. I plan on getting there around 2. My ILs will drop me off and hang with the kids around the port area so that they can wave bye to me during the sail away. With the excitement of the cruise soupled with the anxiety about leaving the kids, I'll be the bawling baby up on deck 10!

Don't worry.....you won't be a bawling baby for long.....just grab your first BBC and you'll be in never neverland. hahaha.

OK got it about the signing up for stuff. Are you joining the Champagne Girls? I'm heading that one up.

When we did the Dream a few weeks ago we had 11am time. They do not even open the terminal in PC until 11. Maybe closer to the cruise we can find out from someone on an earlier cruise what time the terminal opens.

In October the terminal at LA was open at 9:00, when we got there, and they let us in. They started check-in about 9:30.

I am sorry to ask this, but is it to late to sign-up for the group rate at the Double Tree? Checked on page one of our thread but couldn't find anything there about it. Val

Thanks for all the image files everyone, Let the magnet making begin!! :cool1:

Getting FE's organised and planning excursions, it's all happening now, getting excited!!!:banana::banana:

They are absolutely adorable! My 2 girls just went crazy over them and asked if we could buy them, you should sell them on Etsy!

Such talented people here on Dis! ;)

I forget who was handling it too.....but I thought it was Monica/mishoe01.

WOW Val, that's early from what everyone was saying. Now I'll have to get a shuttle for 8:00am. I have to be early online waiting to get in. hahaha.

Thanks everyone for your feedback to help those that were unsure about the class. And you guys hit it right on the mark....it's the time we get to spend together laughing and sharing, etc., etc., those are the best memories.

Speaking of scrapbooking......I was awake at 5:30 this morning so got up and have been working on designing the next pages. I am so excited for a Hawaii themed book. So this morning I pulled out the scrapbook from last year for our cruise to Alaska and started looking through it and thought....these pages are really cute, now all I need to do is add my pictures to them and the book would be done! I can get everyone else's done, but mine....that's another story. And to be honest.....my 2005 Panama Canal scrapbook. It is actually 2 books, and it is only 95% done. I need to finish Cabo and the last sea day before Long Beach. I figure what's the hurry....it's only been 7 years. Can't believe it has been 7 years since so many of us met for the first time and life long friendships were formed. I love my Dis family!

Linda

It's nice to see I'm not the only one still working on their Panama Canal scrapbook from May 2005...you are further along than I am....I still have Panama Canal day, Acapulco and Mazatlan still to scrapbook, along with Disneyland after the cruise....add that to the 11 night Southern Caribbean cruise in 2006, our NYE cruise 2006/2007, the 5 night double dip in Sept 2008, the Repo & Alaska from this past year...not to mention our many WDW trips...

BTW...I still need to get some of the paper so I can finish my Alaska scrapbook...

Nope, not Monica...we had to sign up too. I think it's Bev...let me check my PM box and I'll be right back!

.

Thanks Jacks.

BTW, do you know what time the LA terminal opens? We have had a variety of answers. It looks like it all depends on the day that you get there.

What time are you going to reserve the shuttle for?

Yep...mickeymom923 (and that's Bev C. not to be confused with Bev B.)

Can't get a straight answer on that one, but I don't see any point in being there before 10:15-10:30 at the earliest...especially for us Platinums! :thumbsup2

I have a ton of Alaska papers and have done dozens of pages and still not half way done with the inaugural cruise last year, or my first Hawaii cruise 5 years ago or Disneyland trip 3 years ago not to mention all family and holiday events in between everything :) I have serious issues with taking way too MANY pictures..

Thanks Jackie. So 10:00-10:30am is good to reserve the shuttle. Got it! It sounds very reasonable.

So before I found out that Stephanie was the one who designed my magnet from 2008, I had posted it on the Disign board. Here is what someone came up with. I forgot to remove my post. :rolleyes1 Nothing wrong with having 2.

Tina, I like them both. Leave it posted. I'll have DH copy and make one a door sign and one a magnet. Thanks.

Is there anyone else taking the Disney transportation to the port? I was told we would get picked up at Paradise Pier at noon and we can pre register for the cruise at the GC- does anyone know about this?

This is the last call for anyone who wishes to be put on our cruise shirt wait list. Send me a PM or e-mail to Valbob89@aol.com and I'll send you details and instructions.

Becky also indicates there may be extra material available. She is checking on how much and will let me know. Contact me if you are interested.

You can access my Flicker pages, which contain this image and other cruise images, at QUOTE]

I would be interested in scraps or 12x12 square. Is that possible ?

I am new on the DIS boards and just signed up! My husband and I will be celebrating his 50th birthday on this cruise. We are SO SO excited. We signed up for the Luau in Maui and other FUN events that have been organized by many of you. SO...thank-you all for all your hard work organizing all of this:)
Can someone tell me about the "Palo Brunch" that is being organized and also about the "Scavenger Hunt" ??
Thanks again!!

Welcome to the Dis and Welcome Aboard. Lot's of information on page one. :)

I should be arriving at the hotel between 1-2 pm. I'll take the shuttle and shop during the afternoon. Will you be there then?

We will get to the motel around 4pm. So it will be at the time you will be shopping...no worries, will do my shopping later.

I am also needing to take the shuttle for some things. I get in Lax at 1:00 pm. I am taking shuttle to Doubletree.

As of this post, we are now up to 284 lanyards for our group!

I'm going to leave it open for new/additional requests for a little while longer. Most people's hard/firm PIF date is Feb. 14th or 15th, right? I don't know if I can wait EXACTLY that long.....because I don't want to run the risk that the lanyards take too long to ship to me and not hve them in time....

...so if you've been waiting to order your lanyards, make sure you don't wait too much longer....directions to order your lanyards and confirm your info are on the first page of the thread and also on the master google spreadsheet, too!

Just my 2 cents but I wouldn't wait that long. You know best though because you have done this before. :thumbsup2 I would think people would know for sure if they were going or not by the end of this month.

I am sure I will have a drink in hand consistently throughout the cruise!

Champagne Girls is on my list of things to talk about with my friend who is traveling with me. I'll have an answer within the next few weeks!

We are taking Disney bus to the port from Marriott at LAX, and have not had a time yet, only 99 days we are getting excited!!!
