I'm so happy for you guys! It is now official....you are new members of the Make-A-Wish Family! I notice you said you have green luggage tags....do you know what your cabin # is? Just curious.

Our room numbers are 2050 and 2052.

Since we are a family of 5, they had to split us into two rooms, the VERY sad thing is that they do NOT adjoin one another. So we are not sure how we are going to split. . .. I am nervous letting the 3 kids stay in one room by themselves to sleep, my fear is the youngest, and may I say most fearless one, will slip out and have adventures of his own all night long. I also do not really want to split, girls vs boys, although this would solve the problem, and it is only for a week! The way it stands right now, it is DD and I in one room, and DH and 2 DS's in the other one right next door.

It would have been cool to have either a room/suite big enough for all 5 of us, or to have adjoining rooms. . . . oh well, I will know better to book a lot sooner the next time around.

We went to the Phillies vs Cubs tonight in Philadelphia (the Phillies won 7-1) and it was SO SO SO hard to focus on the game, the airport was just on the other side so I could see all the planes taking off and landing. . . .it was cool (literally 49 degrees) to think, in less than two weeks from now, we will be there trucking all our luggage through the airport. . . YAHOOOO

We have a question we are not sure who will be able to answer. We just got home from seeing Mike Super he did a show at one of the local colleges tickets were a whole 5 dollars. We are wondering if Mike Super and Gary Delena are still doing shows on the Magic

i thought i heard gary delena is no longer under contract with dcl. could be wrong but i thought thats what was said. i'd like to see mike super though.

Heck, we're all on the same ship together. Can't get much closer than that. LOL.

Good morning! Time for another Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

A small investment can help keep you organized. Bringing a small notebook always helps me stay organized on a trip.

Before we go I put budget notes in it as well as anything I make sure I want to remember.

During the trip I use it to make notes on what is happening. Usually just take a few minutes in the evening and write down what happened that day. This helps with with any trip reports I write or when I'm doing my scrapbook after the cruise.

When Mark and I drive to the cruises (usually we drive to the DVC Member Cruises) I'll also put gas receipts in it so we can figure out our gas mileage.

A notebook is also great for keeping track of purchases. Especially helpful i with your customs paperwork at the end of the cruise.

The first time we sailed with Disney, we brought our own towels. However, we never used them! When we went on an off-ship excursion, Disney Magic provided us with towels. This year, I won't be bringing any!

THANKS DAWN!!! On our last Disney cruise, last May, we did the Western but we didn't go to any beaches, so know I now I don't need to bring our own! More room in our suitcases for clothes!

Randy~ I am glad you clarified that, I was sitting here wondering how that fit into the topic being written???

Randy thank you to you and your kids for stopping by the Magic and saying hi for us all Looks like we may not run into many of you we were hoping for mini dis meets in the sun by the pool hoping to stay away from the Disney Magic Laundry Land if we can. Who knows if it is raining we may stop down.

Well we have one bag packed. The bag with our toiletries, dress shoes, snorkels, masks, swimsuits and some t-shirts. The others will be packed next weekend.

We went to see Wicked today at the Pantagos theater in Hollywood. What a GREAT GREAT show. I looooved it!! Totally worth the money (we bought VIP tickets and sat right in front center!). Saw Howie Mandell who sat 2 rows in front of us! I didn't approach him, but many others did, wanting to take their pictures with him and autographs. I felt bad for him, all he wanted to do was spend time with his family! I never really approach celebrities (now if it was Orlando Bloom, it would be a different story! )

Alan and I were talking and saying how we live so close to Hollywood Blvd and never really go there. People come from all over the world to see it and we don't really appreciate things that are so close to our house. So we'll make it a point to take the kids there one day soon. It's only half hour from our house.
