Thanks for the Pixie Dust...I seem to be the only one stressed here. Chris says it is going to be fine. He doesn't feel that it is anything major and at the most he says it could take a couple days to fix even with ordering parts. He also said worst case scenario is that we leave on Sat Morning...does he know how much stress that is...I waited like 409 days for this vacation I refuse to wait one more day...lol! I am so happy we weren't planning on driving straight to the cruise that would be real stress:rotfl:

Lots of pixie dust that everything is just fine pixiedust: !!! I would be very stressed too but better to find out that there is a problem and have it fixed now instead of finding it when you were on the road!

Good morning everyone. Time for a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

Looking for a spot kind of off the beaten path where you can relax, read or maybe listen to some tunes? Well then head on up to deck 9 and the Cove Cafe!

If you are also into specialty coffee drinks this is the place for you as well.

It is adults only and has large woven chairs outside and inside has a collection of big comfy chairs. There is a large screen tv, some games on the tables, I even saw a couple of music listening stations.

There is also a case inside that has yummy pastries during the day and some cheese and crackers in the evening.

If anyone is a smoker there are ashtrays available for use at the outside tables. For those of you who aren't smokers I would avoid the area in the evening. It seems to be a popular area for cigar smokers.

Mary (or anyone else) do you have any idea what time in the morning the cove cafe opens? I fantasize about going up there in the morning by myself and having a quiet cup of coffee before everyone else wakes up!

Now that would have me stressed. Better now than while you were on the road. Here's hoping it gets fixed quickly! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

TOTALLY agree with Mary. In fact, I was going to write the exact same thing until I saw her post!

There is always a rental---worst case scenerio.

Just wanted to say "hi" and see if I'm the only one who hasn't started packing yet? The packing will begin this weekend...otherwise I might need something that I would have to end up digging out of the suitcase!

We haven't started packing. At all. This weekend is laundry (to fluff up all the stuff that's been crammed away so long). THEN we can start thinking about packing.

I do have my lists out, and we could start gathering things like goggles and LRC, and sunscreen. But we've had SO much going on lately we just haven't had time.

7 am to Midnight. Note that the drinks offered here have to be paid for. I usually head to the drink station, make myself a tea (for free) and then head over for a pastry from cove cafe (also free). I hear though that if you are into fancy coffee drinks this is the place to go.

NO PACKING DONE YET!!! :confused3 NO DOCS YET!!! :scared1: I'm hoping that they arrive today!! Too many things going on here to even think about getting the packing started!!!! Next week will be NUTS!!:crazy2: :crazy2:

I'm with you. athough the luggage has made its way to the middle of the living room floor, that's as far as it's gotten.

The above quote was posted today from somebody on the April 19 Western cruise. For those who haven't begun to pack, no need to worry.

There is smoking on this ship? I thought it was non-smoking :(

The coffee costs money but the pastries do not?

You said there is outside seating, but children cannot sit with you?

Welcome!

1) Yep, there are designated smoking areas, one of them is the area outside the Cove Cafe on Deck 9. Don't smoke, so not too sure where the others are, but there arn't too many and are not too obtrusive.

2) Yes, same as if you were getting a drink at a bar, this is a coffee bar, they make all kinds of coffee-based creations. The pastries are in a nice display case next to the bar. If you're looking for just straight-up coffee or tea, there's a free drink station near the buffet on the other end of Deck 9 that has those along with the soft drinks.

3) Directly outside Cove Cafe? Nope, it's in the adult-only section of Deck 9, but there's plenty of seating a few steps away on the other side of the screened dividers that separate the adult area, or up on Deck 10.

Welcome aboard! Is this your first cruise? If so you should know there are some areas of the ship that children aren't allowed in. The Quiet Cove pool is for adults only as is the Cove Cafe. Also on the island Serenity Bay is for adults only. Disney is definately about families but I think one of the things they do best is keep the adults only areas just for adults.

Yes our first Disney cruise. Very much looking forward to it. :)
