Appetizer's on the terrace for Illuminations?

I am planning a Feb. 2012 anniversary gathering and Dh and I have talked for years about wanting to have appetizers and wine, etc. at the terrace between England and France with a viewing of illuminations.

Is this possible without it being part of a Disney Wedding or Vov Renewal package?

I know they have the dessert party for grand gatherings, but we're not interested in it.

I'd appreciate any help and insight in how I can make this happen.

How many people? You'd need to call whoever's in charge of Epcot's private events and check. They do book for private parties other than weddings and vow renewals. They'll book for anyone who can come up with the dough. The more people, the more you could get the expense down - for a small, intimate group the price is going to be pretty high.

If you got the cash anything can happen......although they are trying to get away form this motto.. Changing MGM to HS MGM= Mickeys got your money

or you can ask to see if there is an event if not it may be open to anyone but it would bring your own food from a nearby location

Right now we're at slight over 30 guests, I expect the number to rise to 40.
I know it will be expensive, what I haven't been able to figure out through all my searches is if there is a minimum $$ figure to have it be private and at the terrace.
For the items I've priced out, it looks like the cost would be between $3,000 and $4,000. My concern is that there may be a minimum of $10,000 which would absolutely be too much.

I will find the number for Epcots private events and give them a call, at least that way I will know and can make other plans if this is not an option.

But I'm hopeful it will workout.
