Anyone work full time- third shift?

I got 8 hours straight sleep on graveyard shift. That's an hour or 2 more a night than when I worked a 9 am to 530 pm shift. My mindset on graveyard shift was, sleep was a top priority. When I worked days, the temptation was to go out in the evening, or stay up late watching TV.

When I worked 3rd that was too many daylight hours available to me to "do stuff". Never got much sleep, not did many of my coworkers. On second shift, I slept a LOT :lmao:

No doubt, there are people who can't hack the hours. But then again, I work with people now who have trouble being up in time to get to work at 3 PM.

Worked graveyard at 3 different TV stations since 1980 and the one common thing about graveyard shift is most of the people there are the senior people in their job, and use that seniority to be on graveyard shift. At least in my industry, it's easier to deal with the odd hours than deal with dayside where managers are around. :rotfl2:
