My mom never talked to us about tampons or maxi pads but she didn't really care what we used. My dad bought my maxi pads until I graduated from college. He was a real bargain hunter and would show me coupons or grocery store ads and ask me if it was the kind I used. To him, maxi pads were yet another thing that costs money so he wanted to save on them if he could.

As close as my mother and I were, we just did not discuss stuff like that. She didn't call me out for absolutely butchering myself when I was young. In fact, I still have a scar from back then She pretended to be oblivious.

She kind of let me figure out stuff on my own, and I appreciate that.

Based on the tampon episode, Lily strikes as a pretty sheltered girl. This may be her parents, or choices she is making herself.

Someone just posted Smith Jerrod's Absolute Vodka ad from back in the day and my word was he a hunk of man. Why couldn't they have thrown us a bone and had a quick cameo with Smith in this reboot? Carrie bumps into him on the street and his shirt falls off. Something like that.

And I am sorry, I just cannot get into the professor story line. I am not interested. At all. Still feels terribly forced, imho.

I agree, but I am not sure why. I guess I would have preferred more focus on the work she did and less baby stuff.

I did enjoy the non-Miranda and Che parts of the last episode. I am glad that Carrie is finding a way to move forward.

Laughed and cried on the last episode. Enjoyed the series. Nice that it was wrapped up in a pretty bow where if there isn’t a season 2, it’s good. Liked that life moves on, dealt with parenting issues with teens/young adults, aging, being spontaneous, and the future unknown.

With that said, Miranda is so rigid and structured, it was an undoing of that and slowing finding what she likes and doesn’t like. It’s still touch and go with her. We’re in a different world now, where that’s ok. Sometimes it takes an outsider to break you away from the norm and to explore the unknown. It’s a shock to those closest to you.

It would have been nice, but Carrie wasn't ready yet, and we tortured viewers see things through her eyes.

I'm so bummed the season is over already.

I know! He is so handsome and seems like a sweet guy. I am hoping for a season 2 so we can see what happens with him and Carrie. I am also interested in seeing more of Seema. She is hysterical. Reminds me of Samantha.

Love Cynthia Nixon and used to love Miranda, but not so much now. Perhaps the second season could be Carrie, Charlotte, Seema, and Lisa and of course Anthony!

I really liked the finale. I saw the producer guy ending coming from early on in the season, but he’s hot and seems nice, so I’m happy with it.

Che sang…but not enough. They can belt, so I hope we see more of that if there’s another season.

The finale was so good!!! I really want there to be a season two, it seems like they’re finally finding their groove.

I knew there Was a zero percent chance we’d see Samantha while Carrie was in Paris, but I still hoped.

I’m glad Carrie’s light continued to shine for her.
