Anyone Use Southwest vacations?

Has anyone ever used southwest to book there vacation. I just did one online and it said a 5 night stay at POP, 5 day tickets with hopper, roundtrip airfare and a rental car was only $2744.44. For what pricing I have done this seems like a very good price. Anyone have any input?

I have never used them. However, a friend used them for a trip to Universal Studios. If you use them, make sure you purchase trip insurance. They are very strict with their cancellation policy.

Did a Vegas trip in July with them no problems and best prices I could find.

I always do the WDW web-sight for trip planning and then compair all the discounts to that .If it saves me enough I go with the discounts .

I used them for a WDW vacation about 3 years ago flying from Texas. It seemed like a good deal at the time. The way they breakdown the pricing - the hotel and airfare are lumped together so it is difficult to see what you are paying for on either. On our trip we either got a great deal on Wilderness Lodge or on the airfare. No discount on the tickets.

I have priced trips out this year- doing it as a SW vacation pack. or doing things separately. The separately way saves you money. The other thing is cancellations are much easier with the separate way (Not to mention you just have to put down a deposit for room as opposed to the cost of the whole trip at booking.)

If convenience is your thing...go with the package- if you like to plan all out it seems you can save doing all by yourself.
