I'm a new 150 pt. member- and i guess my max with banking and borrowing is 450. Is this enough for a disney cruise with my wife and child. I went online to see the points chart for cruise... and notice it said points per person.. but is it per night or thats the points per person for the entire cruise

i see that a 3 night cruise for value season at 11 slate room is 67 pts. Is that 67 pts per night or just per person entire 3 night cruise.

New member.. sorry for so many questions..
i'm so excited and wanted to use my DVC to check out all the Disney options with my family.

I just used my points to book a 4 day cruise for Aug. I could only use the current year and borrow the points. That rate is for the whole cruise not per night. If you can, upgrade to at least a cabin with window.

Good luck!

It is per person for the whole cruise. Also, keep in mind that the cruise is mostly all inclusive. I think that the only major thing food item that was not included was alcoholic drinks.

150 point contract will be hard to get a DCL. You may want to rent points or simple pay cash for the trip.

I'm not sure how many points you will need but it's points per person. We went in January on a 4night cruise on points. We booked a cat 11 and were upgraded to cat 8 which was awesome. It was actually a better value for us to use our points.

You will need to pay for alcoholic drinks, but their not overpriced and they usually have a drink of the day for about $4. If you go over to the DCL forum you can get lots of information. Also if you order non-alcoholic drinks from the bar you will get charged, my DH ordered a sprite and it was 1.50 plus tip. You will also need to pay gratuity for some of the crew members and any excursions you might take.
