Legoland looks pretty cool. Madison LOVES Legos too, but I don't know how much she would like the park. If we ever decide to leave "The World", we'll probably head to Universal. She's a HUGE Harry Potter fan!! I was thinking about trying to sneak off property in Sept, but with the baby that will be a little tricky. Next time I guess!

Thanks, that will be great!! I read something yesterday that said that WDW didn't want the BTMRR & TT refurbs overlapping for so long, so they are not closing TT until the middle of May......But then I read something else that said they are closing it April 15. Still nothing on the WDW website....

Who wants to go to Celebration Florida?!!

So since we will have the rental car all day and LegoLand is only open 10-5, we are planning on swinging by Celebration on the way back to WDW. I have always wanted to visit Celebration and my dream is to retire there someday!!

For those of you who don't know about Celebration here is some info –

From what I understand the town came to be in about the mid 1990's. It was so popular that they had to hold a lottery and if you were lucky enough to be drawn in the lottery then you were able to purchase a home there! In the early 1990s, the Disney Development Company (DDC) established the Celebration Company to spearhead its development within approximately 4,900 acres (20 km2) of land in the southern portion of the Reedy Creek Improvement District.[7] Total investment for the project is estimated at US$2.5 billion.[8]
The master plan was developed by Cooper, Robertson & Partners and Robert A. M. Stern, and the extensive landscape, parks, trails and pathways were designed by the San Francisco firm EDAW (now AECOM).[9] Celebration is planned in an early 20th-century architectural style and is not zoned for high-density residences. Celebration was named the "New Community of the Year" in 2001 by the Urban Land Institute.[10]

Getting in there when it was first built would have been the way too go. The prices just go up and up now. I was looking at one realty site and it said that there is not a very big turnover of houses there now. No one wants to move out! Only 2-3% off all the houses in Celebration are for sale.

I wish you were going before us so I could see your full report on Celebration but by the looks of it I just might have to add it anyway! I think DH would really enjoy doing some photography there - it looks so beautiful and wonderfully kept up and taken care of!
and that menu!! WOW!!! Is there anything they do NOT serve???

Hope you don't mind if we steal your idea to visit Celebration and enjoy the restaraunt while there. Sounds like such a nice relaxing time. I just may surprise DH and not even tell him about it - just put a big ol question mark on the calendar. haha.

How long does it take to drive there from WDW?
