Anyone Up For a Little MAYcation?!! A May 2012 WDW PTR with a side of.....

Seriously, is there anything better than the feeling when RNRC takes off?!!!

 :scared1: :faint:

That's all I have to say about that!

Happy Birthday to your DS!!! I hope he has a great day and the teenage years aren't too hard on you.

Happy Good Friday to you too! And I hope you have a fabulous Easter Sunday incase I don't talk to you again before then.

Legoland sounds like great fun! I think your boys should really enjoy it! And you got some great deals on the tickets and the car! :thumbsup2 The gardens sounds really pretty. Can't wait to see the pics of that! I'm excited to hear about Celebration too! :thumbsup2

Oh and btw, I didn't read any mention of B&tB plans in your DHS update. :rolleyes1

Just sayin'... :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

LL sounds like a great place!

Happy Good Friday!!

Wow - you couldn't find anything to buy at the mall?? Did you go to Sonic??
Yay for finding the perfect bike and Happy Birthday to your teenager!!!

Tell him Auntie Jo says She hopes he has a wonderful birthday!!
:)

I can't believe LL!! It looks wonderful! There's so many coasters! I didn't realize they had that many! I bet your oldest will love those.

That Banyan tree looks beautiful---- I can't wait to hear all about your day!

Happy Birthday to your son!!!!!
I know he is gonna have a blast with his friends!!
I am gonna let DS12, who will be 13 in May, look at the Legoland stuff and see if he wants to do a legoland for his birthday! We have one in Dallas....I am not sure if its the same, would have to research it...

WOW LL looks really great!
I had no idea it was that big and had all those rides- especially coasters.
I'm sure DS12- I mean DS13(Happy Birthday!!) will have a blast!!!!
Those apple fries do sound yummy.
Isn't it funny how it's separated into "lands"? I wonder where they ever came up with that idea????:rotfl:
I really do wish that LL opened about 6 years ago. My DS14 would have loved it too. Have Fun!!! It's coming fast.

Happy Good Friday Shelly!

Legoland looks very neat! I would love to go check it out some day- but I'm not sure that I could drag my girls there!:rotfl: Your boys will love it there I bet!

Happy Birthday to your DS! I hope he has a great birthday.

Also, have a great Easter! We are having the whole family over to our house for Easter- it should be interesting with about 30 of us!

Have a good weekend!

I agree with the others. Legoland looks GREAT!!! I think both your sons will enjoy their time there :thumbsup2

about Imagination zone. If there is a school group I'm guessing that they would be there in school hours and have to return for dismissal right?? So if it is closed you could probaby plan to do that area after 3:00 I would think? :confused3 I hope so anyway b/c it does sound neat.

Anyway, thanks so much for sharing the wealth of knowledge you have gotten by researching LL. It does look like a fun park.

Can't wait to see your next post b/c I've never even heard about Celebration. Hope after seeing it I don't have to add more plans to our trip.

Shelly~ Just a quick question for you-
Did I read way back that you guys have a late flight?
We are getting into MCO at 9:30pm We've never had a night flight like that. I was just wondering if you ever have?

Oh boy... Your tour of Lego Land has me very tempted to add that into our plans! We have several non-park days in our current itinerary... :rolleyes1 I didn't realize they had coasters & rides geared toward older kids.

I guess I'll need to talk with DH about it... He thinks it's all for little kids.

Where did you get the coupon? At your local McDonalds or are you planning to get one in Florida? Or online? :confused3

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR DS13!!! :bday:

and

HAPPY "I'M NOW THE MOTHER OF A TEENAGER-DAY" TO YOU!!!!
:scared1:

Just kidding! I survived it with no visible scars, and so will you.

So I'm not surprised you didn't buy anything. But how can that be? You already have one of everything!! ;) I know, there's always room for one more dress, or one more pair of shoes....... Good for you for not spending just because you are there. :thumbsup2 More money for Disney, too!

I am just so surprised at Legoland! It looks so worth a visit, and I hope you have a nice day there. Great deal on the rental car and the tix.

I went to see my DD last night in my favorite city. We saw The Lion King touring show, which was great in spite of our crappo seats. :headache: Our seats turned out to be chairs in a small section normally for people in wheelchairs and the people with them. It would have been nice if that was made known when ordering my tix. I definitely would not have paid $100 a ticket for that. That was all that was available though. But boy was I shocked when I saw our seats. And Disney isn't the only place where people do the unthinkable. The people in front of us (there were 2 rows of these chairs) changed a child's diaper in their lap during the show. They would not have had room to do that in the regular seating, but with the extra space, hey, why not? Even with all that, I had a nice time with my DD. She had to wake up at 6:00 this morning to go to work, so I got up early and made it home before 8.

Have a wonderful and blessed Easter!! :flower:

Hi, am enjoying reading along :goodvibes

Was gonna skip Legoland, Florida but after reading all about it in your previous post, I have a feeling my six year old son would love it!

We have LL here in the UK but not got round to visiting yet :confused3

Celebration is such a lovely town, my friends lived there for ten years before recently returning back to Europe, so we spent a lot of time touring the restaurants and stores. The Tavern is :thumbsup2

I can't believe you go again so soon, fingers crossed you love BC as much as we do!

Welcome! :cool1: I'm glad you are enjoying reading along. Feel free to post anytime!! :goodvibes

I think 6 would be about the perfect age for LL!! ::yes:: I think my kids are going to be a bit on the older side for it, but I know they will still enjoy it!

I can not wait to get to Celebration!! :lovestruc It is my dream to live there someday.

I hope we love the BC too!! :wizard:

I knew that little RNRC comment would make you think I was crazy!! :crazy2: :rotfl:

Thank you. I hope the teenage years go smoothly. But they scare me to death. :scared1:

I'll be sure to take lots of pics of the gardens and all of LL!! You know me and my camera. Kind of like you!!

Yeah, I think I did forget to mention your (oh I mean "my") goal of seeing B&TB!! ;):lmao:

LL sounds like a great place!

I think so! I hope we enjoy it!! :wizard:

Nope, no Sonic. Ended up at the other mall. You know, the one I had sworn off. :confused3:rotfl:

The new bike is pretty cool. He even got up and went out to ride it this morning. It's only in the 40's. :scared1:

I didn't realize LL had so much stuff either until I started doing my research. :faint: Should be fun!! :cool1:

Happy Birthday to your son!!!!!

I didn't realize there were other LegoLands besides CA and FL!

Yes, DS13. Oh I don't like saying that at all. :sad2:

Yeah, it is funny how LL is divided into lands.....Gee I wonder where they got such an idea??? :rolleyes1:rotfl:

I think they will both have a good time there. We will find out soon!!!

Happy Good Friday Shelly!

I kind of doubt you will get your girls too interested in seeing Legoland!! :rotfl:

DS's friends should be arriving in about an hour. Should be fun! :cool1:

Have a good time with all your family tomorrow. :) You are very brave!! :rotfl:

Yeah, you are probably right - the Imagination Zone might be open to the public later in the afternoon. Good thinking!!

I am working on a big Celebration post! I can't believe you have never heard of it!! I'll be sure to include lots of info & pics. :thumbsup2

Shelly~ Just a quick question for you-
Did I read way back that you guys have a late flight?
We are getting into MCO at 9:30pm We've never had a night flight like that. I was just wondering if you ever have?

Yes, we have a stupid late night flight down. It was all I could get since I waited so long to get airfare. We will be arriving at MCO around 8pm or so. Nope, we've never arrived that late before. I think we arrived around 4pm once, but that was the latest.

Oh boy... Your tour of Lego Land has me very tempted to add that into our plans! We have several non-park days in our current itinerary... :rolleyes1 I didn't realize they had coasters & rides geared toward older kids.

Amy -- I think your boys would be a great age for LL and they would love it!!! :cool1:

The McD coupons was a code online, but it expired on 3-31-12. :sad2: But you should look around and ask on the DIS, there could be something else out there now. Jodi found the code I used on a thread on the DIS!!

I sure hope we survive the teen years!! :faint:

IDK what happened yesterday. :confused3 Just wasn't feeling it I guess. I'm sure there are a few things out there that I don't have yet!! And you are right -- you can always use another dress and shoes! :rotfl:

Oh my gosh!! :rotfl: Some people are just nuts. Seriously??? They couldn't just go to the restroom to change a diaper? :sad2:

Well I'm glad you and your DD still had a nice time. I've always wanted to see the Lion King.

Hi! Followed you over from the BC Board! Very interested in your PTR because our dates at the BC overlap... See you at the (hopefully open) pool!

Happy Birthday to DS13!! Hope he enjoys his special day!

Legoland looks pretty cool. Madison LOVES Legos too, but I don't know how much she would like the park. If we ever decide to leave "The World", we'll probably head to Universal. She's a HUGE Harry Potter fan!! I was thinking about trying to sneak off property in Sept, but with the baby that will be a little tricky. Next time I guess!

I asked you about the late flight b/c I was hoping you had a late flight before. I was just wondering how MCO is at night. Even though it's disappointing:mad: coming in late maybe it'll be a faster and smoother exit??:confused3 Crossing my fingers!!!!

Anybody else ever fly in late????
