Anyone stayed at the Portofino?

Has anyone stayed at the Portofino? I am looking for comments on it - good or bad!

We stayed there over Easter for 6 nights and really liked it. Kids suite

no we never had any groceries delivered but we did drive to Von's , very close down chapman off harbor.

Let's see how did we like it .....
It was very clean; the carpets in both hallway and room had recently and obviously been shampooed.
The staff was great , nice and on top of everything. Lots of towels wonderful maid service.
We had an incident one night where about 40 middle school kids were running wild thru the halls. This one staffer herded them up and sent them to their rooms. They were honestly loud! But she fixed it no problem.
I would suggest requesting a room away from an elevator. It can get loud.

We used ART to get back everynight it dropped us off first on the route.
We did not use it to get there in the AM, we walked and it was just10 minutes
Downside....We had one vanity and one mirror in the kids suite. I heard another Diser had a room there that had 2 vanities, that would be helpful.
We would stay there again if we ever needed a kids suite, my kids who are teens loved it

We stayed there in 2007 and we enjoyed it. Very clean, staff was nice. No complaints here!

So it's pretty close enough to walk?

i'm going for a quick girls trip in june and were thinking about renting a suite here...

We didn't want to have to take ART or drive to the parking structure

We walked there every day no problem. It's on the same side of harbor as DL you do have to cross katella. It's just 10 minutes less if you power walk
