We almost got stuck staying there several years ago. We had ressies and from the brochure it looked great, but it was the worst when we arrived. After turning down 4 rooms we left and got a room next door at the Holiday Inn maingate east. The Days Inn rooms were dirty, worn out, one room was occupied and we almost walked in on a man in his robe. Read some of the older posts on this site about the hotel. For 71 a night your friends should be able to find something with a better rating. They ought to try priceline and bid on a Disney area hotel....for 70 a night they might get the swan or dolphin. Several posters have reported that they have gotten the Marriott courtyard in Downtown Disney for less than 30 per night. It doesn't hurt to try.
