I've been misreading the thread title as "Anyone shopping for porn yet?" and couldn't figure out how it was allowed to remain on the board (but not willing to click on it to see the thread). I *just* managed to read it correctly. I am a moron.

That was one thing DD15's favorite, expensive dress had going for it. We got a close substitute, but no pockets. For $400 savings, she can do without and her date can carry her phone. Last year DD18 had pockets but they were too shallow to trust with a phone when she sat down.

Since some are sharing pics, here are the dresses my DDs have for this year:

Niece refused to go strapless. She said she feels she'd be tugging on it all night. We got her a strapless dress last year for homecoming and had thin straps added on, just to give her some confidence.

DD18's strapless dress (the aqua and silver above) actually does have straps that snap in which we were happy to see when she tried it on, because that was our main concern about it. The previous owner may have had them made.

Yay! yay! yay! DD decided against ordering the $268 dress with a 10% restocking fee that I posted earlier. Her friends picked out another dress on the Windsor website for her. DD loved it AND it was only $50!!!! We ordered it right away. It arrived this weekend, fits her like a glove and is super flattering. She adores it! Success!!!!

DD18 found shoes yesterday, DD15 did not. I'm glad DD18 picked a low heel. The higher heels she tried were a bit prettier with more jewels and details, but she decided with the floor length dress, what difference does it make, they will barely be seen. Better to be comfier and safer! And they are still pretty and possibly useful for other occasions.

This is daughter's gown. On her, no skin is showing, though. It looks like a once piece gown. It is a beautiful celery color. Prom isn't until May, but I am glad shopping is over!
