A few months ago I did this. I am not sure if it still works. I read it on another budget related site. I was ordering stuff from Old Navy, Banana Republic is part of their company and they apparently ship (ped) from the same place. I signed up for an account with Banana Republic, they emailed me a code for free shipping off of my first order. I ordered one clearance pair of socks off of their site for like $2 and got the shipping for free. I spent a little extra but atleast I got something for it. Banana Republic tends to be very pricey so I guess it would depend how cheap they have something on clearance.
