Anyone have to leave home early due to snow?

We left OKW early Friday morning due to the snow storm coming to the east coast. So sad that I had to forfit my points for a Friday night. We had driven and did not want to get caught in a snow storm with 3 children in the car so left a day early. I called member services but members services stated that "There is nothing for Disney to react to since there was nothing happening at the time and that I had to then forfit my points. Soooooo Sad!
Hope everyone that had driven this week from up north made it back Okay! If you are on your way to WDW enjoy the wonderful decorations at WDW. Have a safe and happy holiday everyone!!

my problem is that I can't leave home! we were supposed to be on an 11:30 am yesterday, spent 4 hours sitting on plane and it was cancelled. We are booked on an 8:30 pm tonight but logan is still not flying yet.

DVC said when I called Thurs that points would go into holding.

Good call, oshun, we are getting tons of snow in RI! Vacation is great, that must have been a tough choice.
