Anyone getting sliders with AP bands yet?

i know this came up a couple days ago, but I can't find the thread. Has anyone got the slider yet with the AP magic band orders? Or are they still sending the note? I thought I heard someone say this week that they got one, and I'm trying to decide if I should order them yet. I'm holding off until they are back in stock- we aren't going back until September.

Think majority are saying they aren't getting one, and some people are saying their getting a slider that just says "AP" on it but no year.

If you do order one and they send you the note, when they do come in stock Disney is "suppose" to send out the sliders to those that didn't receive one. But we'll see how that goes. Waiting on mine from Feb.

Is this something for only activated MB? I ordered my AP back in October, but will be activating it next week. When i received my MB in the mail there was no note nor a slider. Is this something that you can pick up when you activate?

It is my understanding that you need to activate the AP before you can order the free AP MBs.

No. They are passholder sliders for APs to put on their MagicBands. It helps remind CMs about the discounts available.

You don't receive your AP MB until AFTER you activate your AP. As of right now you just have your AP voucher but your AP year isn't ticking yet. Once you go to the park, go to guest services and activate your AP, then when you go on MDE you'll see a notification that you have a magic band to customize. After you customize it about 24 hours later it'll be shipped out

You could check on ebay, but no there's no place from Disney to order them. Disney only sends them out with AP bands

Thanks, I'll check and see what I can find. I've used the hair bands before, if I can't find the sliders I guess I'll go that route again.

You don't need any type of slider or anything to keep Magic bands on, their very sturdy and won't just fall off. But as far as "Sliders", I only think of AP and DVC ones as being considered "Sliders". Disney does say MagicBandits (I believe that's what they call them) that you can put on a MB however. But I don't think any of the ones they sell look as good as the sliders.

And the AP/DVC Sliders are used to prevent bands from coming apart. They just slide up to near the side of your MB just as an accessory.

I think this is something like I've seen on amazon. They look like what's on your watch. I've used hair bands on ours on other trips. I'm sure they'll stay on but I've always been afraid to go without something on them.

If you position the slider so that it's around where the MagicBand snaps together it can.
