Anyone getting sliders with AP bands yet?

I received the orange, no year sliders last week. Our trip isn't until June and our APs haven't been activated yet. Why did I receive my bands already? Now I'm worried that I somehow accidentally activated the passes already. Is that even possible to do online?

Glitch in the system to where you got lucky and it let you customize. You'll still need to stop by guest service to activate your passes

I got a slider in January, but it didn't have a year on it.

Received ours yesterday - finally ordered them last week. Got the orange sliders without the year. I like them.

That's great- we held off ordering them until I heard. I just got notification that they shipped.

I just sent Disney a message stating how much I enjoy the sliders and to keep it up but that I was disappointed that they have become generic - with no year. If they start issuing ones with a year on them, everyone keep in mind that it ws because I suggested it

This is the first time we've been passholders since magic bands came out, so I was happy with ANYTHING, but we plan on being permanent now that we bought DVC, so yes, dated ones would be nice

I waited until I saw here that sliders were being shipped with bands to order our renewals. Just got them today, and the sliders were in the box! We love them.

No. The 2017 sliders are the orange ones without the year. Those are the official sliders for this year, they're not temporary ones

Wife is still waiting on hers from January. She got her AP magic band, but with a note in the box saying they were out of sliders and hers would be sent later this spring. So far, no slider.

Not sure it is the right place, but wanted to ask a question about linking annual passes. I purchased 6 for thr family in January but have not linked them for our June trip. Do I just go onto MDE to link? Is this where some of you are getting a message to order bands?

That's exactly what I did. My faith that they would ship them later was not good. I figured I'd just wait until I saw that they were shipping again.

Yes you'll go in MDE to your tickets/magic bands area and enter the code for each AP and then link it to whoever you want. Then those AP's will be linked to those people and you'll activate them in person

Yes. I was just going to ask if anyone had luck at GS yet. I'll be there on a month if no one gets one prior to.
