Anyone getting sliders with AP bands yet?

I guess I'm looking for recently. Has anyone got them recently?

I'm looking for sliders in general, not AP sliders. I just want something to put on the MB so we won't lose them.
bitbelt- that's what I put on my kids bands. And yes, they do fall off. Not always, but my sons has. If the edge gets caught, it will pop off. I actually have a small wrist, so the slider does hold mine on because the backside is under it underneath. But I had my DVC slider on this last trip, and twice I noticed that the tabs popped out and the slider still had it.

Is there any where at disney to get them when you activate your AP?

No. Your AP MB is mailed to you. You don't receive a MB when you activate your AP at guest service.

So if it's your first time in the parks and you don't have a previous MB but would like one, you'd either have to be staying on site to get one for free or buy one within the parks (Or Disney Springs). Other than that you'd just use your AP card for entrance and FP and get your MB mailed to your house once you've activated your AP

Have you peeled the grey part off your band since you have a smaller wrist?

No because I like it longer, so my slider secures it.:goodvibes[GALLERY=][/GALLERY]

We already have the MB with our DVC stay. We had purchased the voucher 4 months ago but won't activate until May. I was hoping it would be "here's your AP card and the slider things".

Bitbelts actually are a better option - I have both. Disney's are fun and a great way to accessorize and slide them up to front to see like the Passholder ones. But they are thick and when used on back to keep a MB on very uncomfortable for us adults, I can't imagine putting on back of a kids. The Bitbelts are slim and do the job just fine. They are very reasonable, come in variety of colors packs and some glow in the dark. They also work great on fitness bands etc. http://www.bitbelt.com/

I got my MB and AP slider for a nonactivated AP sometime in February (I think) in the mail.

There have been reports of this to a few but it's not the norm. Possibly just a glitch in the system that happened.

It was 2 separate CMs (one from AP dept, one from reservations) who told me to make sure to customize and order my AP MB and it also appeared on MDE to do so, so assumed that's the normal protocol, just like a resort MB:confused3 Some CMs tend to be horribly misinformed, as in the same hour one CM from the AP dept told me I had to literally fly down to FL, activate my AP in order to make my FPs at my 60day window....ummmm, no  The next person I got transferred to laughed with me and apologized for any confusion...he was one of the 2 who told me to customize my MB, so who knows what the actual protocol is!!

Did they say to make sure to get on right then and customize your MB, or were they reminding you that you'll receive an AP band in general?

The norm is that you buy the AP, and you have a voucher essentially. You have to go to guest service to activate the AP, so technically before you activate it, the system doesn't read it as you having an AP. You activate it at the park (or Disney Springs) so that's when your year calendar begins to tick. Once you activate the AP, that's when the system reads that you have an AP and it'll pop up that you have a MB to customize.

But a CM telling you that you have to activate your AP before you can make fast passes just shows how many of them have no idea what their talking about. That's why people should come on here before going to call disney lol

Lol, hence why my lurking days are over, cuz I could not figure out why I was not able to view AP details until I started chatting on these boards. CMs were giving me contradicting answers from ALL different depts!!

The CMs were reminding me to customize before my trip and trying to get me pumped about receiving the new MBs,they also knew I was staying at multiple places so they told me to say yes to all of them (including the AP) so I'd have lots of colorso_O (so I did) BUT, I do keep forgetting that it is a Gold DVC AP, so it was bought right through MDE and therefore always READ as an AP even though not activated. It never had to be linked, it just showed up that way...I received the voucher and have used it to make pre-paid ADRs and get discounts already. I can make FPs 30days out if I wanted to, the only things I can NOT do is view AP rates and sign up for Mickey Monitor. Fingers crossed my 60 day window will open in 6 days and the unactivated AP won't affect anything:-)
