Of course I was very interested in the Free dining though, so nice to know we could change if we wanted too!

Might be your room catogory. The only thing coming up for standards in the moderate catagory is CSR and CBR. Same with the values limited availibility. It seems like they are trying to fill everything they don't sell well.

I'm not saying the royal rooms at POR don't sell well. But for me to pay another 300.00 for a room makes my FD not seem so free in the end. So it is a standard room for us. We really wanted POR but I don't want to pay for a room category I don't want. So we went with CBR. It isn't my first choice but FD saves us 1200.00.

That is what I was thinking too that it was my room category, I told her I would upgrade if needed but she said that wasn't the problem. In the end I have no idea what the reason was but I am thankful that she kept working until she was able to apply it. We were able to keep our Res the same but just add the free dining.
To the Canadian's who asked if we could book this promo the answer is yes. It is a general public offer so anyone can book it.

It took awhile because their system was slow, but we upgraded our POP reservations to POR (garden view I think) and with FD still saved $4-500!

Oh no!!! We were on hold for 40 minutes before getting through and had my oldest freaking out about not wanting to be late for school. LOL Doesn't she know how important Free Dining is???

I finally firgured out how to book online with two-day tickets since we have APs, so after 45 min on hold, I hung up and booked online.

I booked POR for Sept 29-Oct 4. I paid the extra $112 for the Royal room- the girls are going to love it!

Now I just need MNSSHP tickets!

I didn't call but instead did it online! Was hoping for Pop, Movies, or Music but we got Sports! We needed 4 rooms so I just went with what we could get. I will just call and check another day this week or later on in the promotion offer time to see if we can switch! But for now we are going to Disney World and we are happy to stay wherever since we will be eating for free!

I was booked at POFQ in a standard room was able to get a garden view at POR for $78 more but in the end we saved almost $900 Ill take it lol! Plus my DH said he may upgrade us to the royal rooms as my bday present! YAY!!!! I called right at 7am and had to wait exactly 45 min! Longest I have ever waited but FD is worth it!! Disneys plan worked! I originally was booked at ASMo but I couldnt resist an upgrade lol!

Started calling a couple of minutes before 7 and got the "out of normal hours" recording. I think on my third try, I got right through. Somehow ended up in ticket sales though, but she transferred me and the CM was so very sweet. Made all the changes to add my ILs on to the ressie and get us set up with DDP. She said I was her first call this morning. Total time on the phone, 23 minutes and change.

They all seem so shocked when they look up my info & see that I haven't been there since 1974, LOL! Shameful, I know considering we live in GA.

Now..........on to ADRs - come on, March 18th!

DW was on the phone for 45 minutes. Got the FD for CBR 9/9 - 9/17. Now we are ready to go. Can't wait!!

I called right at 7:00 Eastern time - recording said wait time was over 45 minutes. However, as soon as the recording finished, a really fantastic CM picked up!

She had a little difficulty at first - computer system was slow for her, and for some reason, she could not get the promotion to apply to our reservation. We were booked at BLT in a 1BR villa - standard view - for 8/26-31... however, she was able to finally confirm with Guest Services that the particular room we had booked was not eligible for the FD. So, she offered to change our resort, which she did.

So now, we are booked 8/26-31 at the Contemporary - tower room with TP view - and upgrade to DxDP! I'm really excited - we saved almost $1200 and we can now watch fireworks from our balcony! We have never stayed here before, and I'm super excited!

Booked ASSp for a client 9/23-28. No avail at Pop or other values those dates. System was slow but was able to book online with no issues about 7:45am. Haven't broken the news to them yet...they're hearts were set on Pop. Thought for sure more rooms would be released for FD when it opened up to general public, but guess not. Pop wasn't available for DV holders the other day either.

YAY!!! Booked at CSR 9/28-10/6

I couldn't book by phone due to being at work and for some reason my work computer wouldn't allow me past the page where you put in dates. So I booked using my iphone. Doesn't matter to me how it got booked....we're going to Disney

I will call back later so that I can add our building requests.

Waiting to hear from my travel agent on whether or not she scored me a standard room at POR or if I'll have to pay for garden view.

Now off to PortOrleans.org to see if I can figure out what exactly is the difference between the two, other than the fact that I'm paying for something I don't need/want.

Update: my travel agent rocks and I got a standard view at POR with Free dining! 9/15-22.
