Anyone get through for free dining yet today?

Just got off the phone. Luckily i only waited 15 mins as i amcalling from australia! As a previous poster said nothing but all star sports for the value. Booked it but hopefully we can change later on. He said there were 350 people on hold while he was talking to me! Eeek!

I have been on the phone with the same agent since 7:01. For some reason she can't get the promotion applied to my Res. She said I have everything booked as needed and just can't get the code applied
She is on the other line right now with guest sevices to see what can be done but I am freaking out just a bit.

Do you think this time around it's not for Canadians??

We couldn't get Pop either . Maybe rooms will open up later.

Just book online took about 5 min. Got POR-Standard Royal Room. 5 people (1 infant ) Sept 1-9 for around $3150. Which is what we wanted. Wanted to go in Dec but can't pass up going in Sept with free dining. We usually go during labor day week anyway.

I booked a standard at CBR - so I am booked for free dining! But....CBR wasn't on my list. #1 was POP, #2 was ASMo, #3 was POFQ, #4 was POR and #5 was ASMu.

I've been on hold for 40 minutes...want to see if I can switch.

But if not - we're still going to celebrate our Milestones Trip!

I was both waiting on the phone and trying to book online. I finally managed to book online, but only for All Star Sports. I wanted Pop, like many other people. I wonder if they will open up more rooms for Free Dining at a later date.

I've never stayed at All Star Sports, but guess I will be now!

We are booked at CBR for the dates of 8/25 to 9/3.

But I did do some looking around since we would prefer POR. I can get POR garden or river view or any of the Royal rooms. This is more than what was available with the DV promo. We are proabably going to stick with CBR since it is the only moderate we haven't stayed at.

As far as values no pop for those dates. Did get ASMU or sports. Then ASMO with a preferred room to come up.

I just can't believe that the POP is already filled up....this is crazy! We've went every year that free dining has been offered (except 1) and never had a problem getting POP.....even if we were 2 or 3 days later calling in then when the code gets released. This has to be something that Disney is doing differently or maybe tons of people booked the bounceback.

No way it is filled...Only place (value) for my dates is Sports...come on..ya right. i think they want us to book at the Sports or upgrade to a mod. Im not going to do it. I'll just go somewhere else on my vacation if they want to be that way.

Me and mother got on the phoe at 6:50 and just kept hitting redial. Right at seven she got threw. The rep did both of our reservations. We had to move from POP to ASMo

I'm hanging up.....I'll call back tomorrow and use our first ever PIN code It's only 400.00 more if we pay for our own dining plan and use the code.....I can deal with that to stay at POP.

booked online while I am still on hold 53 minutes and counting. I got Sports but I really don't wanna stay there...my heart is at Pop....hoping later it can be changed =( But I will take sports if I have to. Was gonna do CBR but we did table service last year and just takes to much time out of our day. We will pay out for 1/2 of our favs. Good Luck all.....ANSWER MY PHONE DISNEY!!! LOL

Yea, I know.....I'm just saying that it's filled on the quota of free dining rooms.....which makes no sense since the last few years it's not been a problem getting in that resort. Oh well.....I had POR and the Cabins at Fort Wilderness as my alternates but paying for our own dining in October using our PIN code is still cheaper than upgrading to a Mod during free dining so that's what I'll do

Might be your room catogory. The only thing coming up for standards in the moderate catagory is CSR and CBR. Same with the values limited availibility. It seems like they are trying to fill everything they don't sell well.

I'm not saying the royal rooms at POR don't sell well. But for me to pay another 300.00 for a room makes my FD not seem so free in the end. So it is a standard room for us. We really wanted POR but I don't want to pay for a room category I don't want. So we went with CBR. It isn't my first choice but FD saves us 1200.00.

That happened a lot with the one last Aug. People wouold wait 2 hours and then get knocked off.

I had the BEST Cm and I am now booked at POFQ for 9/17-927 garden view. It was nominally more than the one value available and upgrading the dinning plan. My kids are flipping out over the pool pictures..lol.
