I was born and bred in Scarborough. Met my husband in Scarborough. Had my 2 kids in Scarborough. We all moved out here to Ajax in 2003.

While I wasn't born here, I emigrated to Scarberia (scarborough) when I was a tween, so people take me as a native, lol.

Awww Bluff Parties was there anything better. Problem was I went to Birchmount and sometimes a quick trip at lunch turned into the entire afternoon.......lol.....don't let my kids read this....

I was born and raised in Scarborough, met my hubby who was also born and raised. Me Victoria Park and Danforth area him Victoria Park and Lawrence. Had 1 of my kids in Scarborough but have moved north of the city over 15 years ago and had a country born child.

However, I am less then a hour north so I would be in for a DIS meet.

I was born and raised there till my teens, then I moved up north, and now I'm in the downtown Toronto core. My family still has a house in the Lawrence/Bellamy/Eglington area (near Cedarbrae Mall). I attended McCowan Rd Jr. Public school from jk - grade 5 in the 80's.

I grew up in Guildwood (south Scarborough), did Guildwood Jr. Public, Jack Miner Sr. Public and Laurier C.I.(class of 1993) we did the bluffs parties at lunch too, had a path out back of the football field. Now I live in north Scarborough. I am always on the look out for the mickey antenna toppers, i have over a dozen (it is worse then pin collecting, i collect but don't trade!) so honk is if you see one!

I'm a former Scarborough girl too! Lived in the Kingston Rd./Victoria Park area until I was 21.
I went to Birchmount too. Maybe you and I are closer Hockychic. I graduated in '73.
Never mind! LOL! I just went back and reread your post. It should make you feel young to see when I graduated!

Moved to Scarborough -West Hill area in 1980 from Germany. Attended Brant M.S. and Sir Oliver Mowat. Now in Ajax.

I am actually looking for someone I went to Brant with. Her name was Kaye Babineau and she went on to attend at Woburn. If anyone has any info please share.

Moved to Scarberia when I was 7 from Hull, Que. Outside of a few years in Kitchener as an adult I've been here the rest of the time. Started out on Lawrence between Kennedy and Birchmount (right across from Winston Churchill), next was Pharmacy and Finch. Highschool was L'am (graduated in 1984 too! lol). Then off to McCowan and Steeles, Brimley and Finch and now at Warden and Ellesmere. hehe

I'll be getting married and moving to Brooklyn, NY soon. Can I still hang out here with you guys?! (I'll always be a Canadian at heart! )

I"m a Scarborough girl too! I lived on Brimley Road between Lawerence and Eglinton. I went to David and Mary Thomson C.I. and then went to U of T's Scarborough College. My mom still lives at Kingston Road and Markham Road. I'm in Brampton now but I still go back to Scarberia to visit my mom.

They won't take me! lol I'm a huge leafs fan. They show leafs games on one of the gazillion ESPN channels they have. DF already knows I'll be watching some of them! As you said...if they ever start playing again.

We live on the "border" of Don Mills and Scarborough! Just east of Vic Park and Lawrence - we moved here 11 years ago - I"m originally from Peterborough and DH from Cape Breton. I do however, spend a ton of time iat the Scarboro Figure Skating Club with DD! Jo

We also went to Birchmount...we were born and grew up in Scarborough...and we also went to Birchmount, and we graduated in 1993. WE grew up in the Pharmacy and danforth area...our mom is the crossing guard at Pharmacy and Danforth.
