Anyone ever watch themselves leave port on PC webcam?

Since there is still cell service while leaving port, you could feasibly watch yourself on the Port Canaveral webcam on your phone. Anyone done this? It would be very cool.

I watched the recorded version when we got back, but my Mom watched us and talked to us on the phone while we sailed out. Too cool!

I don't think I'd want to waste the experience of sail away by watching the webcam. Why watch a screen when you can be watching the scenery live?

Because you really know its real when you see it on the TV..

We did it once, it was a blast, the picture was so clear it was like being there... We were even crass enough to wave to the camera, and look for our selfs on the screen... Now thats a selfie...

I think it sounds like a fun idea. You can still be part of what's going on onboard while you glance at the webcam.
