Anyone ever took Greyhound?

Has anyone ever taken Greyhound to Orlando or Kissimmee?

Amtrak isn't putting up any sales that I can see this year and I promised my neices and nephews another trip to WDW this year. With it being 10 total, I can't drive us.

How many and how long are the layovers?
Is it really crammed (I haven't been on the greyhound in 8 years, so I don't know of any changes)?

I just went to greyhound website and put in my dates.
What I get for 1 adult 3 kids is $864.
My gosh, I got $376 for amtrak. Maybe I better take the train after all.

But I'm still curious whether anyone has taken this route. I met one lady last year on the city bus on our way to Magic Kingdom that took the greyhound bus. She was glad she did, it was when that blackout happened and the buses were still moving where the trains were down.
