We are trying to decide where to go to dinner at SeaWorld and want to do something a bit better then the turkey sandwiches., I am the only one in the family that will eat fish so the shark menu is out. .Is Dining with Shamu worth it? How does it compare to the other Theme park / WDW buffets???

There have been many reviews on this try doing a search I have never done it it does get mixed reviews but most seem to agree kids love it:jester:

when we get back. We do have it booked for our trip to FL in January. My DD (8) wants to be a marine biologist when she grows up, so it was sort of a MUST DO for our family (but very pricey!!). I will post about it when we return, so keep looking!

where I jotted down the menu they gave me when I called for info on this dinner... here it is...
Salads, Beef bourguinon (sp?), Seafood creole, Pasta primavera, cucumber almond chicken tenders, fresh veggies, etc....

kids menu... mac/cheese, hotdogs, corn on the cob....

I didn't write it all down, just the basics. I believe it is served buffet style. Maybe this will help....P

Thanks pjlla.. I had found the menu on the SeaWorld web site.. but didn't know about the food quality.. Am I paying a small fortune for a Ponderosa style buffet or is it worth it like a Boma dinner.. Also is there lots of interaction with SHAMU ??

I will do a search and see what others have said.

Thanks

as I am unable to do any kind of search here.... it says that my "search function is disabled"..... I have tried to get it correct to no avail..... Thanks....P

yes it is well worth it if you have little ones - get reservations very early and you will get front row (there are only two rows of tables) The food is not stellar, but you get very upclose and personal with the whales.

I believe we made our reservations the first day they were available, so if seating is based on reservation date, then I'm sure we will have good seats.....P:wave2:
