Anyone Else Still on Hold @ WDW-DINE?

I got right through at 7:00 AM Eastern Time and am still on hold 90 minutes later. All I'm hearing is the Disney music - am I still in the call queue?

I just got off the phone. It was 8:58 when they answered. I was on at around 7:15 after 15 min of "line too busy" message.

I wanted WC for a party of 10 and it was already booked. I had to go with split tables at 6:40. I hope they can put us near each other.

I have been on hold for over an hour and a half listening to music too. I am calling Disney and complaining about this( that is if I can ever get through!) It would be better to have the phone ring as busy. I am about to get off and I couldn't make a dining ressie as they never answered I can just imagine my phone bill. What is the toll free number again? Anyone knoow . Thanks

I finally got thru over the weekend after trying 4 times during the week and giving up. The truly delightful CM that took my call mentioned that this was her 6th straight, long day on the phones. That would lead me to believe that they are short handed (she wouldn't say). That might be why we are all waiting ridiculously long times to have our call answered!

A lot of the CMs can do resort reservations also. They are probably extremely busy because of the guests changing reservations due to Hurricane Frances. Please be patient with them.

I got through on the line at 7 AM and had my call answered 2 hours later. Even before the weather issues, I was prepared for a lengthy wait. It would just be nice to get some kind of indication every so often (and not every 30 seconds like some businesses do) that you are still in the call queue. Better yet, the approximate wait time so I know if I have the time to hang on the line. After a lengthy wait, I have visions of hanging up just at the time when it was going to be my turn!

I just got off after waiting 1hour and 15 minutes - I think it is extra busy cause today they opened up the ressies for the candleight processional dinner packages - this is why i was waiting and waitng ....... Anyways I got our Package for Nov 29th! Can't wait to go!!

I was on hold from 7:04 to 8:44 - then the CM had to put me back on hold for 10 minutes until the CP restaurant I wanted came up on line. I'm all smiles now, though, got the exact PS time I wanted - the CM who helped me was wonderful !!! - she sings in CP and was very excited about the show - promised not to drop my call until she had me taken care of -

Wow! - I sure do appreciate being able to use MS for my PS reservations - didn't know how spoiled I was - my first granddaughter turned 1 yesterday, so I'm just looking at this morning as "CRT PS" training!!

it can not be just the hurricane reasons for the dinning number. it is strange that at least 50 people got up at 6:50 who wanted a table for 10 at WC on the night of 12-1 and started calling right at 7o and have every 10 top table booked by the time my turn came through.

I am not sure that there que system is working right or the WDW-Dine number is not a dedicated number and they are switching back and forth with CRO.

I have done everything I could this week to get up early and start calling right on the 90 day mark.
Every thing I wanted was already booked by the time my turn came. Even the Princess Break at both Cindy's and 1900 were booked. Not just the time I wanted, but every spot that they had. I am going at what is supposed to be one of the low attendance times. It starting to look like Christmas and New years day attendance now.

It is very frustrating to spend who knows how much this week on long distance phone bills only to not get even 1 Character Meal or table that I wanted. I was very flexible on my times to, but nothing. I would even try to change the date, but everyday I called I would not get on until around 8 and everything was full.

I am going to try one last time tomorrow for the Ice Cream Social.

Canda, try using 1-800-828-0228 or 1-877-939-3732. I think your problem is that you have a large party of 10. You may have to divide your party into 2 groups of 5.

I have a party of 8 and I haven't always gotten what I wanted this week. A couple of reservations have been split 4/4.

I'm so sorry you are having a hard time getting your ps. This worries me- I'll be calling next week and it will drive me crazy if I don't get the character meals we want.
I say keep calling and asking for cancellations. You're right- it is supposed to be a slow time of year- how can they be booked already? Even with a party of 10- we went Thanksgiving week last year with a party of 12 and got everything we wanted- including CRT.
Good luck and keep trying.

oh, I am sorry to be confusing with my post. My thoughts are faster than I can type. I only needed a table of 10 for 1 dinner. THe rest of them including all the character meals that I wanted were only for 3. (2 adults 1 child). I could not even get tables that I wanted for just my family.

We found out some old friends were going to be down there and we thought we might meet up at WC.

I would not even try the 10 party to a Character Meal.

Tomorrow is my last ps try at the 90 day mark. after that I am going to hang up at sit on my front porch and drink a big Cheerwine over crushed ice, and watch the storm roll in.

ps. I am also a DVC member and I am waitlisted for my 1st choice of resorts. I had to go with my 4th choice. Where ever I eat, stay, and see, I will relax and not worry and have the best trip ever, because this will be my little boys 1st time going. I will be over my frustration by Fri. evening.
