Looking for Veranda room ideas for the Treasue. Is it best to do a GTY room or bite the bullet and pay more for what I want? There are four of us. Me, my son who is 26yo, my daughter who is 21yo, and my other daughter is 19yo. I would love to be either mid or aft on the right side for the view of Castaway. Having the pull out bed would be a definite plus. Anyone have a veranda room they stayed in that the loved?

If you gamble on GTY, are two of you willing to share the queen bed and one willing to sleep on a bunk bed?

If the answer is yes and the savings are good, I’d go for that. If the answer is no or the savings aren’t great then you need to book a room with the Murphy bed (the easiest way to do this is search for 5 adults, make a note of the room numbers, then search again for 4 adults and pick one of those room numbers.)

The aft rooms on the Wish class can feel like a LONG walk if you leave something in your room because the elevators are more mid ship than aft like on the other ships. I’ve been on deck 8 aft and deck 7 forward (on the Wish and Destiny respectively) and preferred the forward location. I’ve saved the money on my Treasure cruise though as it was a good saving to book *GT.

Thank you so much. This was very helpful.

I have gotten two very disappointing stateroom assignments booking GTY and will never do it again. Going forward, I will always pay more to pick our stateroom.

Thank you. Our last cruise we did a GTY and got an amazing room. I am glad to hear that’s not always the case. I think I need to just pay more and book what will work best for us.

we've done GTY and were happy with our room and the savings. Not always the case for people, but depending on the savings it could be worth it. Any room on a Disney ship is better than sitting at home

We sailed in 7132 and 7134 on the bump out. Both were great staterooms - only one had the Murphy bed. I would pay extra for a cabin with a Murphy bed to have some extra space for 4 adults.
