I am planning our December 2011 trip to WDW. We are hoping for a one bedroom at SSR December 18-23 and then move to the THV December 23-28. My middle DD's bday is Dec. 21st and Hanukkah begins Dec. 20. Y'all know when Christmas is and I plan is to kill 3 very large birds with one very large stone. :thumbsup2

Anyone else plan this far ahead?

We made plans for January 2011, wife is doing the half marathon!

Count me in as one to plans that far out too.

We have Mardi Gras holidays but sometimes that falls during Presidents week and it is too busy so we don't go. Instead we go the last week of May on those years. We also go for Halloween so I have my trips planned out till Oct 2011. Have my call dates set as reminders in my google calendars etc. :)

I am able to better plan my points out that way and see what we can and cannot do. Also lets me see that it is blatantly obvious that we need more points! :rotfl:

December 2012. Yes, we have some trips before then but that's the one that I've already starting working on. Making to we have enough points for a New Years stay at SSR. New Years Eve's falls on a Monday and I'm planning a Sunday to Saturday trip.

yup... we have three planned... Nov 2010 (soon), Nov 2011, and either sept or nov 2013. We just sit and hope that we can get everything. The second two are at home, so I'm not too worried. But the soon one I worry because it is not our home resort and we are trying to get a 2 bedroom lockoff at BLT.

Yes, we are mega advance planners too - we are currently planning for a week-long trip in October 2011, hoping to get BCV :)

2011 is not far out by our standards (time and points and potential resorts blocked out through 2015)

I've got tentative plans out until 2017. Though, since I'm already telling people to plan on going with me in a specific year, I guess it's a little more than just "tentative." :-)

We have plans in the works for May 2010, Nov.2010, and July 2011. Beyond that we are just thinking at this point. DS said yesterday we should plan a Disney cruise and park trip for our 40th anniversary in 2014!!! The wheels are spinning.

Meriweather is planning an exchangers meet and it will be in December 2011. I can't wait to meet some of my exchange partners!

Some in my family are planning to do the half marathon in January 2012, which is only a month later. By that time, I'm pretty sure DH and I will stay in our DVC accomodations for the month of January and some of February as well.

We have nothing penciled in beyond that!:lmao:

For sure!! I'm an uber-planner and I wouldn't have it any other way -- planning just builds the excitement of the trip for me. :yay: I've actually been planning my December, 2010 vacation since July, 2009. I've had my spreadsheet of parks and ADRs prepared for months, and keep going back and tweaking it. When TGM releases his recommendations about parks, hopefully I won't have to change too much around but we'll see how close I come. :upsidedow

I figure that everyone has to be obsessed about something -- why not Disney vacation planning?

I'm probably into 2012 with our planning WDW and non-WDW trips. Though we are taking a WDW break, January 2011 will be our last trip until November 2012.

I think most DVCers plan farther out than most just by the nature of how DVC works. I don't plan specifics way out but I do plan generally about when we will go and how to optimize point usage and AP windows. For example we are going to VB this June, plan on a trip the week after Thanskgiving at SSR just DW and buying AP's, May/June 2011 when my daughter and her BF graduate high school at BWV and then October 2011 DW and I for F&W and getting a third trip with the AP.

We have definite plans through 2010 and then timeslots/destinations planned out through 2016, between WDW (3), DL (2), DCL (1) & Hawaii (1). Plus we're considering the possibility of an international Disney destination (Paris?) and other non-Disney related trips as well.

Started planning our May trip in October '08 when my DGD batted her big eyes and said "Grammy, can we celebrate my 7th birthday in Disney World?" Now we are planning for an Oct. trip for DH and myself, and as soon as the 11mo. window allows I'll be making reservations for spring break next year in March for our family. It seems we are always in "borrowing" mode!:rotfl:

OK I have to add myself to this list as well. I have trips not only planned but actually booked through July 2011. We have April 2010 (AKV) which is quickly approaching...September 2010 Westbound Transatlantic 14 day DCL cruise and a 5 nigh stay at OKW, December 2010 SSR, January 2011 inaugural cruise for the Disney Dream along with an extended stay at WDW and lastly 7 night DCL Alaska trip booked for July 2011.

After all of those, I am already beginning to think what would be next...see told you I am a uber planner on steroids!!!

:thumbsup2 Ummm...Anal Annie reporting in! :rotfl2:

We booked our DCL Med cruise for Aug. 2011 back in October when the itineraries were first released - we are FINALLY down to only 18 months away!! :lmao: Beyond that, we will plan for Ko'Olina & Maui in the summer of 2012 as soon as we can book it, probably with a couple of nights at DL on the way.

I have spreadsheets that go out to 2014. DVCMike likes to make fun of me, but I am just a smart planner. ;)
