I know there are probably plenty of threads on this, and I'm looking through some now, but up-to-date information never hurts :)

Has anyone done MouseAdventure at DL from the MousePlanet website?

I just found out about this, and had a look at the site info - apparently the date for the next one hasn't been announced! :woohoo: Which means, I have time to talk some people into being my team members! :rotfl:

So my questions are:

* How much is it?
* Does anyone know this year's Spring event date?
* You can choose your own teams - between 2 and 4 people - correct?
* Is it fun?? :3dglasses

And anything else you wanna throw in! :thumbsup2

I have played. It is actually a lot of fun. There are four on our team & we are called the DIS Divas. :flower:

You're right. Teams are 2-4 people, and they have three categories, if I remember correctly - Basic, Advanced, and family. I'm not sure exactly how much it costs-- maybe $45, but could be more.

I thought I saw you on one of the other threads! :)

I'd definitely go for the Basic category. So if it's approximately $45 - that must not include park tickets for the day. But, if it's a weekday, my AP covers it anyway :thumbsup2 So that's not a problem.

I'd like to do a team of 4 - DB and I, plus another couple - whether friends of ours or recruiting someone from DIS! :laughing:

We've participated in the last 2.

The last one was $75 a team. We have only played the Basic Division and had a blast both times.

The spring date is April 13th but the date for registration hasn't been officially announced yet (should be the end of this month though!)

I think it is always held on Sundays that have no black-outs so any level AP can get in.

Forgot to add - there is a thread in the Lounge section of that site with the most current info about dates and registration.

$75 per team sounds good! :thumbsup2 What doesn't sound good is that Sunday April 13th IS blacked out for my pass - SoCal Select :(

Sooo... I guess for me, the cost involves admission! :laughing:

I'll have to go check out that section of the site! Thanks for the info :)

I was thinking it was all were able to enter but must be most.

Don't forget you can get the black-out day tickets instead of 1 day. A little cheaper that way. Plus it was mentioned this would only be a one-park adventure so it would not need to be a hopper ticket.

We did pretty badly the first time but still had a great time!

Last time registration sold out in under 2 days so make sure to keep an eye on when it opens.

Thanks for getting the price right. Tink33 always takes care of that for us - we just give her a check. :)

We play in the Basic category -- and that takes us all day!

Yeah DB says it's $40(ish) for the upgrade ticket. He's done it before. So that's not nearly as bad as a $90-something park-hopper! :laughing:

I think having DB on my team would do us a lot of good! He's the resident DL expert :wizard:

Part of the site said that the registration date is released about a month before it actually opens - so if that's true, it'll give me time to figure this all out! :thumbsup2 Being a MouseAdventure newbie and all ;)

Good! I'm glad us new kids aren't the only ones that'll be lagging :woohoo:

Well, according to the Lounge on MousePlanet, Jan 14th...

"Registration will open on either January 29th or 30th. I'll give you AT LEAST a 10-day warning. I should have final details in a few days."

:yay:
