We are doing a quick weekend trip just to use our old pluses and I know TL was closed for 3 days. The Disney Website shows it open again, but I was wondering if anyone could report on whether everything is functional.

There is speculation that the reason for TL's extended closure was less about the damage, although there was probably lots of landscape damage, and more about the theming. Typhoon is another word for Hurricane and Disney probably kept the park closed out of sensativity for Charley's victims.

A few years ago Universal Studios Orlando delayed the opening of their 'Twister' attraction for similar reasons.

Thanks. I know what a Typhoon is, but it didn't occur to me that they would close it just because of the theme. I figured something was physically wrong with the park. I'm still interested in how it's looking from someone who visits this week.

Some CM's said that TL & AK were closed for a couple of days due to the shortage of CM's and not to the functioning of the parks. Remember, lots of CM's had damage done to their own homes and would be unable to work.
