Any Wii's out there??????

Do you think all WalMarts will have 32?? I am trying to decide which walmart to go to, a 24 hour walmart or one that opens at 7:00...... I just need one for my son, Why do they make it so hard...............

My Super Center is getting 4. Yes, F-O-U-R. What are the chances of a mom actually being willing to sleep at WM for a day and a half?? My guess is all 4 will be on ebay within an hour of sales.

I guess I got lucky. I stopped by my Circuit City at 9:40 Sunday morning and was the 16th person in line for the Wii. They opened at 10:00, and they 21 to sell.

Just a quick note about the accessories...I was at my Target today around 11:15 am and stopped by the eletronics section. The Wii display had 1 classic controller, 2 regular controllers, and 3 nunchucks. I bought the classic controller and a nunchuck. I'm sure the other items are gone now, but if you're looking for accessories, keep on the lookout. It looks like the stores will be getting things in periodically!

My walmart confirmed that they were getting "a few" on Wednesday, but didn't tell me a time, just in the morning.

I can't make it until 9:05 on Wednesday (drop off the youngest at preschool, and rush over).

Need a lot of pixie dust.

I came across one auction on ebay where the guy said h e worked at Best Buy and had bought 4 systems to resell.

My level of frustation is rising with each passing day over this stupid game I look at ebay, and there are auctions where people have many games, I'm reading about people walking up to stores at opening and there being game units on the shelves with no waits...

It's my own fault. I should have gone to Target sooner on Sunday morning. 6:45am wasn't early enough.

At some point, I guess I need to suck it up and seriously consider Ebay. BAH.

There was a sign up at my local Wal-Mart last night saying they were getting more on 12/6 so don't give up. If you really want one call the electronics dept. at your Wal-Mart and Target to see when they might get a shipment. Don't forget Game Stop/EB Games/ and Toys R Us. There are still more Wiis coming out!

I think that half of the free world will be at Wal-Marts across America tonight, waiting in line to get a Wii. LOL. I won't be one of them, mainly because I don't shop there.... but, even if I did reconsider my anti-Wal-Mart poilicy, I can't get a straight answer as to when they are going on sale here (midnight or 8am). As a SAHM, living in a small-ish town, my options are pretty limited. I have to take my kids to school every morning, so the earliest I can get to Target is 8:25am. The sharks are swirling around Best Buy every morning... I still get there at opening and check, just as the manager suggested I do. I hit Gamestop after Best Buy, but they never seem to know when UPS is coming. I can really only do that on M-W-F, too.

After 11am, I have to pick my DD up from preschool, do lunch, resting, pick up other kids at school, etc. I don't have the luxury of hopping from store to store several times a day.

Like I said, I blew it on Sunday. I was #15 in line and our Target had 11 Wiis. I should have gotten there sooner.

If by chance I was to come across 2 of the units (as if!!! It isn't even as though I can find one!) But, if I did, should I pick up a second one to pass on to someone here at cost? I am definately not an ebay shark kind of gal, but would be happy to help someone out.

I called my Walmart and they said that they would be going on sale tomorrow 12/6 at 8 am. Now, my Walmart is open 24 hours a day. BUT the Wii's won't be going on sale until 8 am and they are only getting 8. Not sure if I'll make it to the store. I have to get my daughter ready for school !

I think she meant that if someone gets two, one for themselves and one extra, she would like to buy the extra one. (But I agree that they're probably awesome parents anyway! )

I have been trying for awhile now to get one, but i have talked to my kids and told them not to count on one, because a mom only can do so much. I will keep trying until a week before christmas then i have to buy something eles because this was their main christmas gift . Wish me luck!!

Why would you feel like a cheapo? A $250 game system plus games is nothing to sneeze at. All of our kids who are getting (or hoping to get!) the Wii are beyond blessed!
