Any Wii's out there??????

Just went to the closet Wal-mart Supercenter and they said they would have 8 Wii's on Dec. 6th. He said there have already been 2 people told him that they would be spending the night in Wal-Mart Tuesday night to get one. I just can't do that. Someone has to work! Maybe I will luck out somewhere before Christmas!

Just a heads up to anyone who has purchased a bundle from Walmart - I was lucky enough to get a order in on their first bundle offer of the Wii, Extra remotes and 4 games - Everything pretty much shipped seperately and I had receipts for each item - I was able to return 2 of the games at my local Walmart with no problems at all - so if you can get a bundle online you may be able to return some of your games when they arrive.

As far as the 4 million units I think what most do not realize is that this is 4 million WORLD wide not just 4 million to the US. They are going to be hard to get before Christmas but not impossible- if you want one you can get one but you will have to be very persistant in checking your local stores and online. I'm surprised though that so many stores are only getting 3 though. I don't live in a big city and my Target got 11. I know that's still not much and we were lucky, but still it's better than 3. I think for most people it will just be how much you're willing to wait or just being lucky. Those bundle prices are insane! It's probably easier to get a Wii than a TMX Elmo, though... lol

I was working at a birmingham TARGET a few days ago and the store executive said they would have some units for sale this weekend. I can't remember how many he said (i want to keep thinking 30!!) but it is, as always, first come first serve. It is the Trussville Target and they are a super target but I have no idea what their hours would be.

I called CC and was told that they would have at least 15 in stock tomorrow the woman I spoke to said customers aren't camping out any more. (I hope she's right )

Target wouldn't confirm if they'd have any in the morning. Since they open at 8:00, I plan the get there about 7:30. If they don't have them, I'll walk down the block to CC and hope I get lucky there.

I saw tomorrow's ads. the Wii is listed is Target, Toys R Us and Circuit City. Not in Best Buy. My Dh is going to head to Circuit City early. He was about three shy of the Best Buy tickets last week and didn't get there until 9:30. he's planning on going early tomorrow-and it's supposed to be COLD here! Here's hoping and some pixie dust for everybody!

I live about 2 hours northwest of B'ham. My closet SuperTarget would probably be in Tuscaloosa about 1 1/2 hours away. Sometimes it's the pits living in the boonies. Maybe I will luck out somewhere between now and Christmas.
