Any SUV recommendations?

We just got THE WIFE a BMW X3 a few months back, so I inherited the 2004 Durango/hemi.

The Durango will fit all of that and more, Third row folds down and has plenty of room for the dogs.

The X3 is more CAR sized but it handles like a sports car.

I had a 2003 Durango and I loved it, the third row was great for extra people. When folded down the room back there was very big. The dogs would love it back there. My Durango had a front bench seat so I could have put and did at times 8 people in it.

This summer we traded in our 2003 Tahoe (which I loved to ride in BUT hated the gas bills) for a 2006 Ford Freestyle. It is a cross over vehicle and has AWD. It gets very good gas mileage (21-27 mpg) and has TONS of room. I think that the setup in this vehicle is even better and roomier than our Tahoe.

I also see that Ford is coming out with a new COV, the Edge. Looks interesting. Good Luck!!!!

We're planning on picking a few for overnight test drives, and then seeing how the carseat and dogs (with the seats covered ) actually fit.

I keep thinking we'll need one of the larger ones, but my budget would like a smaller one.....

We love our CHrysler Pacifica and I 've loved all the Jeeps we have had.

I had a Mazda Tribute (same as Ford Escape) and I loved that car. was always comfortable to take around 4 adults and had back end area that would carry lots of stuff. It got decent gas mileage (20) and it never gave me any problems.
It was a great car and fully loaded for a great price. I would recommend.

I now drive a Nissan Murano...sort of an SUV...and I LOVE this car.
it rides so smooth and quiet and the seats are so comfy. It has all the extras and its been a great car for the 1.5 yr I have had it.
