Any "secret" spots to view Illuminations?

Everyone here is great with having info/tips on so many things. Just wondering if anyone knows of a good place to view Illuminations (not at a restaurant) that may not be so "popular".

When we stay at BWV, we like to find a spot close to the International Gateway to get out quick. There are usually last minute spots available between Japan and France. The view isn't as great as up front near Future World, but those spots fill up very early.

I second that one that Debbie said. If you are staying at any of the Epcot resorts, it is very handy to watch Illuminations near The International Gateway. If you watch Illuminations on the bridge between France and the UK, you can make a quicker getaway, through the International Gateway, back to your resort.

If you're not worried about seeing the globe, I suggest sitting in the bench in the little garden in the UK pavillion. You can see the fireoworks perfectly without worrying about staking out a spot, where tons of people will be standing in front of you.

we "accidentally" found this spot-hope you can still get down to it...going counter clockwise (from Canada) in WS, after the UK to France bridge-stay to your left, look for steps down. We planted ourselves down on the steps and along the front railing there. We watched the parade go behind us and the fireworks in front of us unobstructed.

There is one deck lower, but that was reserved for a private party.

We found a great spot last time- in Japan. We sat on the cement bench furthest to the right (when facing the water). The bench is sort of in a corner because of the railing so it definitely had that "cozy nook" feeling along with a great view.
