Oh, Kristine...I am so very sorry.

LOL, Denae. Thanks! It's so funny to hear myself, and everyone else, cheer when I tell them I failed the test. I really hope this is my problem and it'll be something I can fix, hopefully, in a few months! I would LOVE to get pregnant and have a baby in the summer since DH would be off...even thought DS's birthday is in July, I still think having a baby when DH would be off for 2 months would be ideal!

Kristine.............I'm so sorry

I just took a HPT and it was negative. That's now 14 months of trying. I'm scheduled for an Endometrial biopsy on Wed, hopefully AF won't show up before then so I can get all this testing done so I know what the next plan of attack is. I just want to know what is wrong with me!!!! I'm so sick of crying about this and I just want to get on with my life. I feel like my life has been on hold.

Kristine  I'm so sorry this one didn't work out for you.

Kristine and mla:

Allison: So when will you know your plan of attack? I bet you are excited to get the ball rolling :goodvibes

Mla, I am so sorry as well

I had another appt today, and of course for anyone who wants to see, I added more pics to my link from my sig. We did find out what we are having though and it's a boy :)

I'm so sorry, Kristine. :( We are all here if you need us!

mla~ I'm sorry for you too and we are all here for you as well!

Elaine~ Congrats on the boy! I suck at predicting genders for other peoples' kids most of the time. I would have guessed girl for you (for no reason whatsoever, other than just guessing!). I did guess correctly for my own dd though.

I hope everyone is well. I am just super busy with school and clinicals right now. I am also excited to finally be officially starting the ttc journey. This will be our first month really trying so I'm hoping it goes well. AF should be gone in the next day or so and then we can get the show on the road.

mla..I'm so sorry! This last cycle was cycle 14 for me as well. I totally relate to your feelings of everything being on hold. We moved into our house in May 06. I never touched the 3rd bedroom because we were starting to TTC....I still haven't touched it because I'm just waiting. I know that's nothing in the grand scheme of things, but it's sort of a constant reminder that we're still waiting to have another baby. Going in there makes me sad.

Rebecca, I have an appt with my GP on Sept 14th. After I see her and figure out the plan to control the insulin problem, I will call my gyn to see how long I need to keep trying before getting in touch with her and if there are any other tests we can run while waiting. She was pretty confident that I would fail the glucose test, so she didn't mention any other options. I have a feeling she'll want to wait a few months to see if once i get a handle on the insulin problem if my TTC problems resolve. I do plan on talking to my GP about us TTC and also glucophage as suggested by my gyn if my GP doesn't Rx it. So I'm pretty much just waiting until then. Didn't really TTC this month...AF is due towards the end of the week but I'm not expecting much.

Elaine..Congrats on the boy! Little boys are SO much fun!!

Hi ladies! Can I just jump in this thread here? DH and I just decided last week would start trying for our first baby! :) I'm kind of worried because I have really long cycles (every 2-3 months), but I'm optimistic at the same time. I think we are just going to see how things go the rest of the year and if I'm not pregnant by the end of the year (which hopefully I will be) start charting and stuff. Does that sound okay? Also, I know there are food items you should not eat while you are pregnant -- is this true for TTC as well?

Wish us luck (and good luck to all of you as well!) :)

Kristine and mla, I am so very sorry. I know how disappointing it is.

Congrats on your little boy, Elaine!

I feel like we are 'on hold' as well. My 6-year-old still hasn't gotten her 'big-girl' bed yet because we've been waiting to see if baby #4 (if it happens) will be a boy or girl - that will make a difference on what kind of bed we buy and who doubles up since we only have 4 bedrooms. It's not as bad as it sounds because she still sleeps with me and has no interest in sleeping in her own bed yet. Nevertheless, it looks weird for her room to still have a crib in it, not to mention the angst of having to look at the empty crib day in and day out. :sad1:
