Well, the tie breaker test was positive!!!!!! Can you believe it? I have a beta/progesterone tomorrow at 9 AM - central time. Can you please send some good thoughts my way? I don't want to get my hopes up because of past m/c, but I can't help but feel SO excited!

I TOTALLY was not prepared for this. We are leaving for WDW in 10 days and were going to start TTC seriously after that. My whole body feels like it is swimming in something. I feel sick, crampy, nervous, elated, etc...

Keep your fingers &&&&&. please!!!

Minnesota! Congratulations! Have you told your DH yet? Will he be surprised?

Wow, another BFP! Congrats Minnesota!!! Or is it Min-ah-soooooo-tah? ;)

Lil Mermaid, lots of pixie dust to you. I'm starting to think this thread is good luck, so hang around.

Before I answer the QOTD, I wanted to give out the best charting advice I ever got - it's not about day to day temps, but the overall trend. Since I've figured out that my pre-O temp is under 97 and my post-O temp is well over 97, I can temp any day of the month and know where I am. It probably won't be as cut and dry for everyone, but I didn't want people analyzing every tenth of a degree. It'll drives you batty!

QOTD: We have picked out the first name of our girl - Avery. When we were in WDW last October I told him I found the perfect name for a girl. To my surprise, he agreed and was so excited. He said it just sounded right. When I hear a name I like, I'll ask him, but so far that's as far as we've gotten. I like everyone else's ideas - especially the Allie one. :teeth:

Let's get some more BFPs! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks all!!!

Allison - you are right - Minne-SOOoooo-tah! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the name Avery - would be one of my top 3 - but I don't think it's on DH's list anywhere, LOL.

DH - well, I called, no answer. Emailed a pic of the test, no answer. Finally he called and said "whassup?". I clued him in as discretely as I could (I AM at work), and he started crying in terror!!! LOL. He said that he knows it's God's plan, whatever happens, and he is grateful, but terrified. We are (still) remodeling our house, and finally getting on track financially, so it's just a little scary, but I fully believe I will never be given more than I can handle. :O) I told him we will take it day by day. He freaked when I found out I was pregnant with DS, so I expected this LOL..

Congratulations, Minnesota!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

As for names, if it is a girl I am considering Alexandra Gabrielle (Lexi for short) although I'm not sure because it seems like it might be too much of a mouthful. However, our last name is only 2 syllables so it might work. For a boy either Brandon Charles or Brandon Thomas.

Ok I got through the first page and see that you are!! Before getting pg with my first I charted for a year. I was so frustrated at not becoming pg I gave up the charting and got finally got pg that month! I think I was stressing myself over it so much that my body finally relaxed!

I too am a huge fan of TCOYF, that book is awesome! So a year of trying for Samantha and then I had a m/c in Feb of 04 and then Feb of 05 I had Haley!

As hard as it is sometimes I still think I would like to have another baby. DH is 41, I am 31 so I would prefer sooner...but then again I don't know! I would like to lose these pesky 20 lbs first...now DH is wanting a team of some sort....;) No harm in trying right?

Congrats Minniesota! Awesome news!

BTW - if we do have another one, I just know it will be another princess and her name will either be Natalie or Isabelle (we came close to the latter for Haley).

The more the merrier, Lilygator! I love your daughters names, BTW!!!

I got pregnant with Lucas the month we "gave up"...amazing how that works..

Hey Lillygator! :wave2: Yep, we're TTC. Hard to believe the boozers are wanting to settle down. ;) I hope you'll join us - it's nice having support and advice from those who have been down the road already.

Minne-SOOoooo-tah! - well at least you were expecting that reaction. You never see them sweat unless babies are the topic! I wonder what Kory's reaction will be when I finally get to break the news. I think he'll be excited, but I suspect a bit of anxiety will overcome him! :faint:

Congratulations Minnesota and Kim!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :woohoo: Looks like the baby dust is flying! :cloud9: :cloud9: I'll be at WDW the end of this month so maybe I'll bring back a little souvenir. ;)

The names we have picked out are Nicholas and Stevie Faith (after my parents). :)

I've had the name for my first daughter picked out before I even met DH! :rotfl: I told him this before we got engaged and made sure he was okay with it, and his response was "as long as I get to name daughter #2!" Turns out he's had a name in mind for a while that he's wanted to name a daughter. So we have a deal: I name girl #1, he names girl #2, and then he names boy #1, and I name boy #2. Now, we're only thinking about having 2 kids, but this way we both get to name one child, no matter how it works out.

My girls name is Miriam Rosemary. Rosemary was my mom's name, and she died in 1999, so I'd like to honor her by naming my daughter after her. I'm the oldest, my mom was the oldest, her mom was the oldest, and my great grandmother was also the oldest, so I'm kind of hoping to continue the line of oldest daughters to the 5th generation. I'd call her Miri or Miri Rose. DH's girls name is Elizabeth, and he wants to call her Bess. I'm not fond of Bess, but he said I could call her Ella if I'd like, as long as he gets to call her Bess.

We don't have boys names picked out (DH swears that we will only have girls - as if we could choose! :teeth: ). DH's family is Welsh, so he really likes Welsh names like Rhys. I like Ian, Colin, and Jacob, but DH doesn't like those as much. He might tolerate Ian.

Congratulations to everyone who has gotten a positive! That's so exciting!!

I just got a call from my OB/GYN's office and my annual exam has been moved up a week so that's one week sooner I'll know when we can TTC. :) I'm ready, but at the same time nervous because I don't know what to expect (DS was a surprise!).

No names picked out yet. I'm convinced I'm going to be the only one in the family that has 2 boys (almost everyone else has a boy and a girl), but if it's a girl I really like the name Kate and Claire. I don't think DH cares for them much. The first time around, we agreed on Olivia for a girl, but I'm not sure if I still like it as much. If it is a girl, I want the middle name to be Margaret. Our 6.5 year old Yorkie was hit by a car on November 2, 2005 and died...she was our baby and I still cry for her. :( Her name was Maggie, and I know a lot of people use Maggie as a nickname for Margaret, so I was hoping to have the middle name be Margaret. People will probably think I'm nuts for naming a child after a dog, but I don't care.

As for boys...not sure. We had a lot of "C" names on our list last time. DS is named Colin so I don't really want another "C" name. I really like Parker or Anderson.

I hope this is a lucky group :wizard:

We are working on #3, hoping for a girl.

Congratulations Minnesota! Wishing you all the best!

As for names... honestly I don't know. I have gone through a ton of names that I thought I liked. All I know is that I want something named after my mom. I don't necessarily want her name, but maybe what her name means (either first or middle) or something based off of it. So really, no clue :teeth:
