Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

That's what I get on the website as well but when I go through the app and do FastPicks it allows me to select but ONLY on the app and ONLY with FastPicks (and I can't do FastPicks for my entire stay). I would be interested to know if anyone else can do this through the app.

My phone app is the same. No FP+ but it did have the link for Fast Picks when I go into a specific day. I didn't go any further than that I was afraid something would get messed up.

We are going down from November 29 - Dec 7 and I just checked MDE and went under Profile and then Friends and Family and when I chose myself and then **** MagicBands adn Cards it said This guest has no Magic Bands.

Did I do something wrong?

I don't think you need to go into your profile. Just mouse over MyDisneyExperience so the menu pops open, and then go down and click on MagicBands and Cards. What happens if you do that?
 
So that just worked for me also!! I mean the Fast picks...and they are showing up at FP plus booked on the website!
 

We don't check in until November 28, so I still have a few days. But, I've been reading posts about other people being able to customize before the 60 day mark.

Actually, I read a post similar to mine a few days ago. The next day, that person posted that they were able to customize. So, I thought if I posted, maybe my luck would change!

We are staying at VGF. The link in MDE still says "Manage Magic Bands and Cards." When I click on the link, I see cards from previous trips.

We check into the WL on Nov 30th and I was finally able to customize bands last night. I had checked repeatedly earlier in the day, but it wasn't available then.

I have a feeling you will be able to customize your bands soon. I feel like WL was one of the last ones to get the personalize option. Maybe tonight will be your night. :goodvibes

Is this where you're tapping on FastPicks? Is this what you're seeing, with the parks saying "Not Available"?

The FP+ seem to show up on the MDE website when I booked the Epcot FP+ through FastPicks.

So that just worked for me also!! I mean the Fast picks...and they are showing up at FP plus booked on the website!
Did you also get only Epcot or could you do other parks as well?

I tried it, and I'm only able to see Epcot as well, no matter what date I pick. Weird that it would let you do it through the app but not on the website. Kind of apprehensive in doing it though, don't want to screw anything up when it becomes available on the website.

I ordered tix from UT and had I seen the posts about the issues would have not ordered the RFID ones.

Darn! How did I miss that? I could kick myself!:furious:

Yes, just Epcot for us as well.
 
It shouldn't take the 14 days for you to get your tickets. I did the same thing since I didn't want to deal with will call, and our tickets were here in a couple of days! Will keep my fingers crossed you get your fast too!! :thumbsup2

This is all getting so confusing! Our check in date is 11/30 and I was able to customize MB a few days ago. I should be able to check in online this Monday. So far so good, right? Wrong. :crazy2: Last night I ordered our park tickets online (on the MDE site) and for delivery option, I chose standard mail. Now I can't link the tickets on MDE.

Just spoke to someone in tech support. If I had chosen the "will call" option for my tickets, I would have been able to link the tickets using the will call confirmation number. As it stands now, I have to wait until I receive my tickets (about fourteen days from now) then go to MDE and enter the number on the back of the actual tickets to link them on MDE. Only then will I be able to do FP+.

So, long story short, from what I can understand, if you plan on purchasing park tickets via MDE, choose the will call option and then you will be able to link your tickets and get FP without having to wait for the actual tickets in the mail. Hope that makes sense!

I'm in the same boat as you, Katelly. I missed that bit of info, too. The upside is that patience is all that's required, not a call to IT. sjs314, good luck on getting your problems with your tickets fixed (if you haven't already - this pesky job thingy makes it hard for me to keep up here. :/ ).

We are in Canada and have been able to customize our MB's (no FP+ yet, Tuesday is our 60 day mark), so being an international customer shouldn't affect anything for you (other an your MB's won't ship to you, but you'll get them at your resort). The issue is likely your check-in date. November arrivals have just been loaded into the system this week. They probably haven't started adding December yet.

Today I logged onto MDE and it said to customize my bands and there is a screen to choose my FP+. I had not looked into any of the FP+ stuff, waiting to see if I would get it. Now to figure it out!:surfweb::surfweb:
 
Anyone else having trouble scheduling FP+ on a random day of your trip? We are going November 15-23, I can book FP+ everyday but Nov 20. That day is completely grayed out and I can't select anything. Weird thing though, I am able to access it on the MDE phone app from my phone. Called Disney today to see if I could have the website fixed and the CM acted like I was being a pain. Came right out and said there is nothing he could do and that's it. I would like to book my FP+ on the website instead of my phone. The app takes so long and is not as easy to use as the website. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if they were able to get a fix.

I had that problem for 11/21...I kept sliding the dates back and forth and it eventually came up. Weird!

Thanks! I tried that and it worked. :thumbsup2 If I slide all the way to the left and then to the right until I get the 20th, it showed up. That is weird!!
 
Two workarounds:
1) App still works on the greyed out day.
2) Go to my itinerary on the webpage. Go to the problem day. Hover over "add plans" on the upper left. Choose select FP+. This way still works.
