Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

Is anyone else getting the option to pick FP+ selections but then having a window pop up saying something like 'We're sorry, you are not within your FP+ selection window'? I was getting something similar before but the pop up was saying an error had occurred and then it was fixed and not letting me see anything to do with FP+ but now it is giving me the FP+ window message. Wishful thinking perhaps but could this be a good sign???

I just wanted to add that we are staying at POFQ which is not currently participating in the test so the FP+ being linked to a reservation for there could be promising!

I've been getting this every once in a while for the last few weeks. Since it doesn't happen all the time there's a small instant of hope, until it's dashed by the pop up.

We are checking in Nov. 2 as of right now, but I am thinking about adding on a night or two at AoA before that so that we can go to MNSSHP. I guess I have decided to get them so that I can reserve a BOG lunch and a few rides that we have never rode due to long lines, plus my kids will go wild over the bands especially if we get them at home before our trip. I really hate being limited on FP though As far as I can tell, we don't have the ability to order MB, but we are also at Music which may not be part of the test

By the way, can you check in more than 10 days early now?

Someone who is staying at the BCV from the end of Oct to early Nov said that they could make FP+ reservations for their Oct dates and for Nov 3rd, but not for Nov 1st and 2nd. They called a CM and was told that they should be able to make FP+ reservations for their Nov dates on Monday. I hope that means that November will be released by then.

I honestly wonder if CMs are just making things up as that makes no sense. I have FP+ made for 11/1 and 11/2. I'm not staying at BCV, but if they can make FP+ selections there shouldn't be certain days that they can't make choices.

I hope so! We are staying at 3 different hotels so I'd like to try it during one of the stays. I don't think testing has happened at the other resorts we'll be at yet. We are only at the BCV 2 nights starting on the 5th.

According to his ticker.. October 31st (if my math is correct!)
So far, all I have seen is that people who have a check in date in October, can make November selections. Anyone checking in November 1st or after is not able to make any selections.

I will probably be reprimanded for posting here, but I am following both the October and November threads. I check in October 31st and am not able to make any fastpass selections. I keep checking this thread to see if anyone at my resort has been able to, but not that I've seen. Staying at FW cabins.

We're all waiting for something....anything to give us an idea if we're going to be able to use Magic Bands and FP+ on our November trips....

Not sure if this is helpful or not... I am renting BWV points for 11/1-5. I added that reservation# to MDE - it linked just fine. I already have MBs from previous trip to Pop in August.

A couple days ago, I was able to 'Check in Online' and schedule all my FP+s for each day of my trip. However, the selections were limited to only those attractions that currently use FP-. No shows, no fireworks, no character greetings, etc. I scheduled them anyways just because they were there, but if more is offered, I'm sure I will change some things around.

Conversely, I have a reservation for Thanksgiving as well at Riverside - no option for FP+ yet, no option to 'Check in Online' yet.

I actually can schedule FP+ for anytime this month and October, which means feasibly, I could be staying offsite and using my magic band since I already have one with an AP linked. I'm curious when the rest of November will open up - if I'm able to keep FP+ ability, we may stay offsite just to save some $$.

This is helpful. It seems a bit of a different situation for you since you already had your magic bands from a previous trip, as if once the bands are turned on they dont turn them off? I suppose it makes sense that the first part of November is added since the last check in date for the October test is the 31st. Still more waiting to do I guess.

Interested with this idea if it would work if there is no new testing in November/December. I have seen a couple people able to book FP+ for an arrival in November if they already had a band from August, September or October. While most likely a waste of money, I wonder if booking a one day ghost reservation in October at a testing resort (if your real trip is December and you never actually go there in October) would get a MagicBand mail to you for that ghost reservation that could be used for the real trip in December.

Lets hope for a full rollout or continued testing for November and December though.

We have a trip in early November to AKL (Jambo). When I logged into MDE it prompted me to make FP+. DS and I have magic bands from our trip to Pop last week. DH does not have one and he is coming with in November. It says he is not eligible for FP+, even though he is on the reservation (and it also won't let me order a band for him).

I expect it will straighten itself out in the coming days (if not, I will call IT and find out).

Just an FYI that it looks like rollout will continue into November.

Also, all 3 of us our AP holders. with linked passes. The last day it allows me to make FP+ is the last day of our trip, which is linked to MDE. We are exactly 60 days out from today.

a friend who is travelling with us for our thanksgiving trip spoke to IT yesterday and was told to "watch" for the invite for MB and FP+...there is hope everyone!
